Megan Fox stars in new 'Call of Duty: Ghosts' trailer -- VIDEO

There’s one thing every group of guys needs when they head into an epic battle: A super sexy sharp shooter on a nearby roof. And that’s just what they get in the latest trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The most recent video in the franchise’s “There’s a Soldier in All of Us” campaign stars Megan Fox as said sharp shooter when a group of friends find themselves being attacked. Directed by The Wolverine‘s James Mangold, the trailer follows the four soldiers through a demolished Las Vegas, a brief stint in outer space, a quick drive through snow-kissed mountains, and even a battle in Caracas, Venezuela, where they run into Fox.

Four reasons why Megan Fox will make a great April O'Neil in 'TMNT'

Many fans aren’t pleased with the decision to cast Megan Fox as April O’Neil in Michael Bay’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot. And while the actress is known for her controversial quotes and sexy physique, Fox can definitely pull off the role of the Turtles‘ sidekick. Here’s why I think Fox is the right choice. Your party is a wonderland: 'Vanity Fair' Paramount portrait is an A-list playground

Image credit: Art Streiber, exclusively for Vanity Fair

Well, I just lost my afternoon. In honor of Paramount’s 100th anniversary, Vanity Fair has “assembled 116 of the greatest talents ever to work at the studio.” That means Leo, Bob, and Marty, some icons of the studio’s golden age (hello, Eva Marie Saint, Jerry Lewis, and Michael York!), almost the entire casts of Transformers and Star Trek, and even that Canadian whippersnapper Justin Bieber, whom you might remember from a little indie film called Never Say Never. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg (Titanic zing, hey-yo!).

Because Vanity Fair knows you want to see every one of those 116 faces up close and personal, they’ve installed a zoom function on their site. Fair warning, PopWatchers: This thing is addictive. Click through at your own risk. Below, we scope out a few of the famous faces and hand out our portrait honors. READ FULL STORY

Megan Fox victim of banana split and run on 'Ellen'

While promoting her movie Friends With Kids on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, ubiquitous fembot Megan Fox encountered the greatest trauma of her adult life: a giant banana?

“My only real job that I ever had,” before becoming an actress, explained Fox, “was that I worked at a little smoothie shop in Florida. Once a week, usually on Fridays, someone had to dress up as a piece of fruit and go out and stand by the highway.” Fox recalled: “I was a banana, a giant banana.”

Cue an Ellen staff member dressed in a trauma-evoking banana suit (think Hagrid meets Bananas in Pajamas) creeping up, making a “banana noise” (apparently that’s what that was), and scaring a squeal out of Fox. See the inexplicably random clip below. READ FULL STORY

Megan Fox laps up the force of life from own clone

It’s the alternate Lost finale we could never have seen coming. Actress Megan Fox and Circe impersonator has set herself up on a deserted island and transformed herself into DOZENS of Megan Foxes in a commercial for Brazilian language school CCAA. “Welcome to Megan Fox Island!” she announces. Help yourself to a Skinny Girl Margarita from her magical urn, lost boys, but for God’s sake order it in English. READ FULL STORY

Michael Bay on Megan Fox's Hitler remark: Spielberg said, 'Fire her right now'

You don't have to be Dale Carnegie to know that you shouldn't compare your boss, who can fire you, to Adolf Hitler. So when Transformers vixen Megan Fox told Wonderland magazine in 2009 that
her director was like the infamous Nazi mass murderer, well, she was inevitably replaced for the franchise's upcoming third film. Now, Bay is admitting the obvious, telling GQ that Fox's departure had everything to do with the führer furor:  "She was in a different world, on her BlackBerry. You gotta stay focused. And you know, the Hitler thing. Steven [Spielberg]

said, ‘Fire her right now.’ ” READ FULL STORY

Shia LaBeouf says Megan Fox had too much 'Spice Girl strength' to work well with Michael Bay

As we get closer to the June 29 opening of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon, it’s only natural for people to ask Shia LaBeouf how filming the third film with Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley differed from the first two films with Megan Fox. Especially now that LaBeouf has given such an interesting answer. He tells the LA Times‘ Hero Complex:

Megan developed this Spice Girl strength, this woman-empowerment [stuff] that made her feel awkward about her involvement with Michael, who some people think is a very lascivious filmmaker, the way he films women. Mike films women in a way that appeals to a 16-year-old sexuality. It’s summer. It’s Michael’s style. And I think [Fox] never got comfortable with it. This is a girl who was taken from complete obscurity and placed in a sex-driven role in front of the whole world and told she was the sexiest woman in America. And she had a hard time accepting it. When Mike would ask her to do specific things, there was no time for fluffy talk. We’re on the run. And the one thing Mike lacks is tact. There’s no time for [LaBeouf assumes a gentle voice] ‘I would like you to just arch your back 70 degrees.’”

Watch Megan Fox modeling Armani underwear and jeans: Happy Friday!

Let no one say PopWatch isn’t an equal-opportunity connoisseur of the celebrity form. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes video of Megan Fox modeling Emporio Armani underwear and Armani Jeans. I think the editor of this clip showed incredible restraint, waiting 37 seconds to bare some serious skin. That couch wins MVP in my book. I actually like the making-of video more than the ad itself (also embedded below). It’s less pretentious. READ FULL STORY

Megan Fox may join Judd Apatow's next film: Can comedy save her career?

Megan Fox starred in two of the biggest movies ever made, but both of those movies were called Transformers, and Fox didn’t have much to do in either one besides bare her midriff and stare blankly at special effects. Fox’s real genius was in self-promotion. She had a knack for tossing out brilliantly casual soundbites (She had a crush on a lady stripper! She compared Michael Bay to Adolf Hitler!). She talked about sex and had lots of gonzo tattoos, which made her seem like the hot-zombie-resurrection of Angelina Jolie 2001. But Fox’s first major starring role, 2009’s horror-comedy-something Jennifer’s Body, was a miserable flop, and since then she’s only appeared in the terrible Jonah Hex and the equally-terrible-but-fortunately-barely released Passion Play. Which makes the Hollywood Reporter‘s claim that Megan Fox is currently negotiating to star in Judd Apatow’s next movie seem like a true watershed moment for the actress. Since Fox is currently filming a role in Jennifer Westfeldt’s comedy Friends with Kids, it’s worth asking: Can Fox kickstart her career by moving into comedy? READ FULL STORY

Johnny Depp, 'Inception' top IMDb's year-end polls

wonderlandImage Credit: DisneyIMDb released its users “STARmeter” picks for the year, which are completely based on “search behavior.” And lo, we search for who we love. The top slot this year went to Johnny Depp, which marks his sixth win in the category. Kristen Stewart came in second, followed by Robert Pattinson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., Christian Bale, Gerard Butler, Megan Fox and Zoë Saldana. Interesting!

IMDb users also rated movies all year, and at the top of that heap is Inception. The wisdom of crowds, you guys! Toy Story 3 was second, followed by The Social Network, How to Train Your Dragon, Tangled, Kick-Ass, Shutter Island, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 1, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, and The Town. This list is actually a bit more surprising — I know people loved Dragon, but I didn’t know it was that popular.

Do either of these lists surprise you, PopWatchers?
