Dearly beloved, we are gathered today to celebrate the recommitment of Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson to June “Mama” Shannon, his shack ‘em up mate of almost nine years. This is — probably — not a wedding. This is a ceremony to celebrate the beauty of love, the brightness of orange, and the sanctity of camo.

The “groom” will now read his vows*, followed by the “bride.”

*vows are equal parts quotation and wishful thinking

13 reasons the world is ending tomorrow

Don’t let those eggheads at NASA try to fool you: The world will end on 12/21/12, just as the Mayans predicted centuries ago. (An actual excerpt from their prophetic tablet: “That’s great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane — Lenny Bruce is not afraid.” Such an advanced culture!)

How do I know the end is near? Because the signs of an imminent apocalypse have been coming all year — signs like these:

Honey Boo Boo fakes sleep to avoid answering Dr. Drew's questions -- VIDEO

Someone get Honey Boo Boo child her go-go juice, stat — she’s falling asleep!

A barefoot and agitated Honey Boo Boo feigned sleep yesterday in the middle of an interview with Dr. Drew in order to avoid answering his questions. The 7-year-old reality star, whose real name is Alana Thompson, has been making talk-show rounds for the last week, acting more and more restless with each interview. She groaned, snored, and flailed her arms to no avail yesterday, ultimately yelling “My fans come up to me and I hate it!” in response to Drew’s question about whether she likes being on TV. Season 2 of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo will certainly be entertaining.

Maybe Dr. Drew should stick to interviewing celebrity drug addicts and pregnant teens — they’re usually more responsive.

Honey Boo Boo performs classic Christopher Walken lines -- VIDEO

You gotta have more go-go juice!

Here comes…more Honey Boo Boo videos. How should you feel about that? You could make an argument that the joke is over and that the entire Honey Boo Boo clan needs to disappear from TV stat. You could also say that they’re having fun, are no worse than the Kardashians (high praise?), and that there are bigger causes one should take up.

Loving it? Needing it to end? Either way you’ll probably have an opinion on this newest video, courtesy of Screen Junkies. Last week, they had the cast of Seven Psychopaths – including Christopher Walken — read Here Comes Honey Boo Boo dialogue. Thanks to Walken, the results went viral. Now, the tables have turned.

After watching this clip of Honey Boo Boo (Alana) and Mama June reading famous Walken lines, I promise you that it will make you laugh/ roll your eyes/ sigh. When Mama June shares that she doesn’t like big words, you can chuckle at / weep for/ re-evalute your life choices. When you realize all of this won’t be over anytime soon (TLC has picked up the show for some holiday specials, and more episodes are all but a guarantee), be prepared to cheer and book your DVR/ look into reading more / continue to ignore.

Honey Boo Boo endorses Obama on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' -- VIDEO

President Barack Obama may have lost Lindsay Lohan’s vote, but he gained an endorsement from Honey Boo Boo just in time for tonight’s second presidential debate. Granted, the seven-year-old reality star can’t vote, but she probably wields just as much influence on the populace as Lohan.

America’s favorite mother-daughter duo, Mama and Honey Boo Boo — a.k.a. Here Comes Honey Boo Boo‘s June Shannon and Alana Thompson — dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live last night and discussed politics. After some small talk about couponing and nicknames, a very restless Honey Boo Boo (she must have forgotten to drink her go-go juice) said she would vote for Obama over Mitt Romney after learning that Romney preferred Jersey Shore‘s Snooki over her. You’d better redneckognize, Romney.

Christopher Walken and 'Psychopaths' interpret 'Honey Boo Boo' dialogue -- VIDEO

Is there a Honey Boo Boo-sized void in your heart now that the season has wrapped? Rest assured, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, and Colin Farrell are here to save the day.

During a junket interview for Seven Psychopaths (in theaters this weekend), the trio read verbatim dialogue from TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Naturally, Walken took on the role of mama and read about the family’s melted butter and ketchup concoction. But, as hilarious as his straight-faced read is, you’d better redneckognize that Rockwell and Farrell stole the show.

I dare you to watch Farrell say, “If you fart 12 to 15 times a day, you can lose a lot of weight” in a Southern/Irish accent without cracking a smile.

Rosie O'Donnell wants to buy Honey Boo Boo a house

The one-time Queen of Nice has a rather nice gesture for the stars of TLC’s Here Comes Honey Boo Boo — she wants to buy them a house.

In a video interview with People, Rosie O’Donnell said that she loves the show, and that she’s especially obsessed with its 7-year-old star, Alanna Thompson. O’Donnell redneckognizes in her a child star from another era, Shirley Temple. “She has a presence and an intellect that goes way beyond her years … I’d love to meet them,” O’Donnell said.

She then says that she wants to buy the whole gang a house, which may not be such a bad idea — the brood is expanding. On a recent episode, “Chickadee” gave birth to a baby girl.

O’Donnell might not have to worry about buying a house for Honey Boo Boo : The controversial (to say the least) show has attracted an average of 2.3 million viewers so far and was just picked up for more episodes.

Only six more seasons to go until they keep up with overtake the Kardashians.
