'Revolution'? 'Mindy'? 'Nashville'? What's your favorite new TV show this season? POLL

One month ago, Homeland and Modern Family were named Best Drama and Best Comedy at the 64th Annual Emmy Awards. Their crowning ushered in the 2012 fall TV season, an exciting new beginning filled with surprising triumphs and unsurprising failures. (Made in Jersey and Animal Practice, we hardly knew ye!)

It’s too early to tell whether any of the networks’ shiny new shows will dethrone Homeland or ModFam at next year’s Emmys. Still, we’ve seen enough of them to know which ones are live-watch musts, which deserve a spot on the DVR… and which should follow CBS’s legal drama and NBC’s monkey comedy to an early grave.

Green Arrow shooting into superhero fighting game 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' -- EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK

It could scarcely be a better time to be Green Arrow. The not-quite-top-tier DC Comics hero is enjoying a major career resurgence thanks to the CW’s highly anticipated new series Arrow – featuring the crime-fighting abs of star Stephen Amell — not to mention the nation’s abiding obsession with all things archery.

And now EW can exclusively reveal that the man who by day is known as billionaire Oliver Queen has joined the ranks of warring superheroes in Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment’s upcoming fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Developed by the same team behind the seminal fighter Mortal KombatInjustice pits DC characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Catwoman, Nightwing, Harley Quinn, Cyborg, and Solomon Grundy against each other in a battle royale in vast battlefields that the characters can employ against their enemies. In this exclusive gameplay trailer, it’s clear that Green Arrow will use his arsenal of arrows and wisecracks to pummel the crap out of his comic book compatriots.
