'Dancing With the Stars': Season 18 is liiiive!

Oh, my! What is this strange planet we’re seeing on its heaving (and bosomy!) 18th giant breath? The Celebriquarium is BACK! The judges are on the LEFT again. Our old pals Brooke Burke and the Harold Wheeler Band are…. GONE?!!!

Well, we can at least cheer for the Celebriquarium. The sparklebots belong higher than everyone else, as they are so on a higher level.

Discuss the season 18 premiere, Erin Andrews as cohost, and the new look, sound, and….feel?! of Dancing With the Stars below, ahead of my full recap later tonight. READ FULL STORY

In the middle of a field trip, a school bus — one that’s carrying the children of some of the nation’s most powerful people — is taken hostage. How far will they go to save their kids?

'Dancing with the Stars' finalists celebrate on 'Good Morning America' -- VIDEO

The new Dancing with the Stars champ was revealed last night, and the coveted mirror ball trophy went to Glee star Amber Riley. Along with finalists Corbin Bleu and Jack Osborne, Riley appeared on Good Morning America to field Twitter questions, show off their hard-earned dance moves, and reveal how much they really know their dance pro partners.

In their “after party,” Riley didn’t dance around questions like this one, “How sexy do you feel right now?” Her response? “I feel early morning sexy,” as her dance partner Derek Hough nodded in sly approval. Corbin Bleu was asked what he would miss most about dancing with Karina Smirnoff. “The accent,” he replied. “It’s hearing her just not say articles when it comes to her sentences,” Bleu added.

It’s all over! In Tuesday’s two-hour finale (update: my full recap is live!), Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff (pineapple, left), Amber Riley and Derek Hough (mirrorball madness, second from left), and Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke (thinkin’ pink, second from right) danced one last time in a high-octane “fusion” round. 'Dancing With the Stars': Who should win? -- POLL

Tonight’s the season 17 finale — and the first real “results show” of the season. About time! It’s Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff (in pineapple fringe, above) vs. Amber Riley and Derek Hough (mirrorball madness, second from left) vs. Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke (pretty in pink, second from right). Fun fact: The last time Karina, Derek, and Cheryl shared the finals (with J.R. Martinez, Ricki Lake, and Rob Kardashian in season 13), Karina came up with the win.

After Monday’s finals (read my full recap here), EW asked the finalists to name three reasons they should win — watch them campaign for themselves below. Plus: See my picks for who should and will win, vote in our polls, then add your own in the comments! READ FULL STORY

'Dancing With the Stars' results: Final three are...

SPOILER ALERT. At the end of Monday’s finals (full recap here), after our four finalists danced a “judges’ choice,” a samba relay, and the dreaded/revered freestyle, one couple has been eliminated. That couple is…. READ FULL STORY

'Dancing With the Stars': Season 17 finals are live!

Tonight’s the all-important Freestyle Round, which typically determines the winner of the COVETED MIRRORBALL TROPHY, according to glittery lore (and, like, statistics). One of the final four couples — Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff, Bill Engvall and Emma Slater, Jack Osbourne and Cheryl Burke, and Amber Riley and Derek Hough — will head home at the end of tonight’s two-hour performance finale. Update: The eliminated couple is…

Lest ye forget, we have a real finale coming up tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET — the first Tuesday night results show of the season. About time!

'Dancing With the Stars': Best freestyle ever?

Tonight’s season 17 performance finale is also the dreaded (by pros) and revered (by fans) Freestyle Round — when all bets are OFF, weirder costumes than usual are barely ON, and the smoke machine is OUT to sweep up as much glittery blood, sweat, and tears it can wrap its chemically enhanced tendrils around. (What?!?) The point is, Dancing With the Stars freestyles are important. In most seasons, the couple with the best freestyle wins the Coveted Mirrorball Trophy the next night.

So which DWTS couple has had the best freestyle EVER? Dance pros Derek Hough, Karina Smirnoff, Peta Murgatroyd, Mark Ballas, Emma Slater, and Sasha Farber told EW the freestyles they remember most fondly. See the picks of Our Pros and a few of mine, then name your own favorites below!  READ FULL STORY
