Could she BE any more clear?
Courteney Cox went on the Late Show with David Letterman Monday night, and Letterman told her he had to ask her about something she probably didn’t want to address: A Friends reunion.
Fans have been clamoring for one since the show went off the air in May 2004 (10 years ago!). Unfortunately, Cox said she’s got some bad news: She can barely get Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow together for a cast dinner. That means a taped reunion simply isn’t in the cards. “It’s not gonna happen,” she said. (For the record, Friends creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane told EW the same thing earlier this month: “The show is over. What was at the heart of the show is done,” said Kauffman. And as Crane added, “People say they want it, and the more that we say it’s a bad idea, people [disagree]. But I think if we actually gave it to people, there would be such backlash.”)
