Today's Funnies: "The John Cusack Project"

We'll let the director(?) explain:

"My Crew and I managed to convince 90 random people in San Antonio to pose Like John Cusack in the movie Say Anything for twenty seconds each while we filmed them. because of a mixture of elements including inappropriately filled out release forms, bad lighting, and limited song length, we could only put 65 people on the video."

Ladies and gentlemen, The John Cusack Project...

I was so bored I tore my own eyes out and pushed ping pong balls into my eye sockets.

Greatness! If only LDV were a true plague, maybe I could get a decent boyfriend!

Where's the motivation? ;)
The guy at the three-minute mark was clearly the best.

The credit snippets were fun and the coat makes the whole thing.

I was disconcerted by people walking by and not even noticing. Guess we live in a heads-down world and it takes a Lloyd Dobler to make a difference.

That was pretty lame.

Hello, Netflix, I need to get this movie now!
I thought this was cute. I was looking at the faces of the people holding up the radios...were they just holding the radio or really going all out with their re-enactment? :) And I loved the end bits with the spin on the famous moments of the movie.
Jeez...I saw this movie when I was 13 and I think being introduced to a character like Lloyd Dobler then might have subconsciously ruined it for all the other guys I have met since. ;)

After struggling to decipher the crappy font on the opening credits, I watched for less than a minute, fast forwarded, still more of the same and came to the conclusion that this video is a tad boring.
Say Anything was great, though.

nice tribute!

they should have played the intro that way though. the horror-esque plague descending on everyone doesn't match either the song or the emotion created by the coolness of having so many people re-create such a famous pop-culture image.

Very nice tribute to one of the best films of all time. Good job, guys! Somebody alert Mr. Cusak to this!
