Dept. of Verification: Jay-Z, Kelly Clarkson

Rumors_l In case you were busy wolfing down lunch while some of us freaked about Jay-Z's plane crashing in the Smoky Mountains, TMZ has updated its original story: "The three aboard the plane were white men." Whew! Looks like the Care Bear Stare I sent Jay-Z via my Budweiser Crown-tattooed tummy was a rousing success.

Britain's Daily Star reported that Sony BMG chief Clive Davis found Kelly Clarkson's new album so vile, she's now forced to scrap it. I guess you could have stopped reading after the first three words of this sentence to assume this is bogus, even though the American blogs are all aflutter. But her publicist assures EW it's "not true."

That is all. You may go back to trying to ignore Spider-Man 3 now.

Jay-Z....I didn't even hear that he was in a plane crash until this morning on hot 97..they said it was all a hoax...

Love Clarkson...and I like that song as well...

Hmmm, this reminds me of the bogus story reported by Fox News(imagine that!) that L.A. Reid at Island was unhappy with Mariah's 'Emancipation of Mimi' and forced her to re-record it. That was false, of course, and Mimi turned out to be the biggest CD of '05. This bodes well for Kelly.

By the way, what is this Spider Man '3' you mentioned?

Never Again is a great song. listen to it another few times and you might feel like taking that back.
her album is going to be killer.

At least she is looking fantastic! Where is the velvet Teddy Bear?

I like Never Again and can't wait for "My December". This is an ancient rumor, debunked by Kelly herself in radio interviews, and it irritates me that the blogosphere has picked up on it, especially Perez Hilton. I don't know why he has suddenly decided to hate on Kelly, but he needs to get over it and focus on other things, like his vile friend Paris going to jail.

What? Never again is a great song. Can't wait for the album.

It is NOT that bad. Considering that AKON and his dubious singing skills have been assaulting my radio for months. I'm ready for even mediocre Kelly.

Since Perez Hilton has all of a sudden decided he hates Kelly. You can bet he doesn't print the retraction!

Judging by her first single "Never Again," she should consider flushing the entire album down the toilet.
