Note to Eva Longoria: Shhhhhhhhh!

Eva Longoria is no actress (please see "The Sentinel"). The appeal of this woman, on ANY level, escapes me. Knowing about this call in to Seacrest (how does this guy have a career?) just makes her even less appealing.

Streep? Podium? Are you for real, Slezak?

But please don't think me exempt of losing my cool. Like everyone, I've had some really embarrasing moments on this site that involved me flaming or saying ignorant comments. Recent examples: my comments on the JJ Walker/ Anne Coulter article and the Ken Burns WWII doc offended fellow readers. Passionate as I am about my beliefs, they are just the opinion of one (sometimes overly passionate) guy and I never meant to ever offend or hurt anyone, especially not here.

Totally agreed about Furry_Tom. He's written some comments that made me laugh so loud at the office that my co workers had to ask me if I was okay.

Gotta tell you, Ep, after reading and posting with you for the past three months, I am convinced that we (throw in furry_tom, too) see eye-to-eye on most things.

I just wish I had the ability to stay neutral and flame-resistant as you guys. I get entirely too worked up over these issues - as minor as they are. I have to laugh at myself. Nevertheless, good post!

I actually talked about this on my blog a month or two ago. I'm soooooo sick of hearing about her relationship! I can't wait until it falls apart and then we can all laugh.

Yeah, I love me some Gaby, but think Eva's got a bit of an ego problem. Maybe it was that Maxim Magazine cover of her that could literally be seen from space (saw it here at Popwatch) that did it, or the oddball incident with the cops when she and Tony Parker got pulled over a while back.

Eva's does have a right to say what she wants, but the backlashes against Wilmer Valderrama and Brett Ratner after they started bragging about their sex lives tells me it's best to keep your privates private.

Ms. Longoria's fans probably have an image in their mind of who she is. Too much truth can sully an image, so why ruin the fun and fantasy? I don't understand why Ms. Longoria felt this needed clarity. Would it have been so bad if people thought she wasn't having sex before her wedding? If the rumor was that she schtupted five guys at once or ate human blood, THOSE would be the type of rumors to clarify.

Eva has a problem. She has a need to be in the spotlight all the time, and she does whatever it takes to keep herself out in front. Personally, I ignore her.

It is not a new thing for her to be so open about her sex life. Remember when she had that interview with Rolling Stone and she talked about using a vibrator? I would hope someone as pretty as she is would also have some class, but I guess not. I'm no prude, but my Mama always taught me that you shouldn't talk about what goes on in the bedroom.

I'm so freaking sick of Eva Longoria, and I don't even watch Desperate Housewives. You're right, Michael, no one needs to hear about her sex life with what's-his-name. The very fact that she feels the need to talk about it publicly makes me think it's not nearly as good as she claims.

Well, let's keep in mind that this is the same woman that once said in an interview that "Desperate Housewives" empowers women. Empowers them to do what - I don't know, maybe cheat on their husbands. So let's not pretend that discretion is really even in her vocabulary.
