154541__randy_lRecently, PopWatch treated you to an item about the pure poetry of Paula Abdul's American Idol critiques. But -- yo, yo, yo, dawg -- it wouldn't really be fair to judge Randy Jackson if we didn't point out that his contestant evaluations are pretty elegiac, too, at least when directly transcribed into verse form. Here's a sampling of R. Dawg's works from Tuesday night's performance show, complete with PopWatch-approved titles:

But how did you really feel about Chris Daughtry?
Yo, yo.
Yo, yo.
Amazing, amazing.
Loved the jacket.
Loved you.
Amazing.

This is how you start a positive review of Elliott Yamin?
Yo, baby, Elliott
So check it out, dawg
Elliott
So check it out, man
I hated
Check it out
Did not like the arrangement

Mixed messages for Paris Bennett
I thought it was pretty good
I mean, I'm not saying I was blown away
But I liked it
I wasn't over-the-top about it
But I liked it

Confusion and Taylor Hicks
Yo, Taylor, man
I don't know what's goin' on, man
I don't know if it's me tonight or whatever
But dude, that was completely the wrong song
For me
For you
I didn't get it
It wasn't half as good as the original
It felt like weird karaoke to me
I don't know what's happenin' here
I don't know what's goin' on here

The Three Stooges are at it again, getting ready for another season of America’s #1 Show “American Idol.” These guys are so hilarious when you put them together. You must listen to this interview, just log on here: http://ryan.kiisfm.com/cc-common/losangeles/podcast/onair.html

My life's been bland. I've basically been doing nothing to speak of, but what can I say? Not that it matters. Eh. Such is life.

Randy Jackson: Sorry for not answering you sooner, but I had some grammar issues of my own to clear up on a number of term papers. Please keep reading your new dictionary and write letters.

Randy Jackson Sat, Dec 23, 2006 at 10:16 AM EST

Yo dawg, what you gettin' at? I'm fine with my, check it out, vocabularly. Better than yours. Dawg.

Juju Wed, Aug 16, 2006 at 03:42 PM EST

It just goes to show that having money does not make one a polished person. His vocabulary leaves much to be desired.

Randy Jackson is two-faced. I remember when he was all for Bo Bice and then he pulled the old switch game. He needs to do more reading and less judging. I am sure there is somewhere he can go and take a class. How about English 50?

no matter what or how he says, he's still a grat bass player... ask JLP

I am 30 years of age and handicapped. I was wondering if Randy Jackson would be able to make an un-expected appearence in Albany, New York because I want to talk to him directly about him & I singing a remake of a Monkees song entitled "Heart And Soul" as a dedication to my very special and sweet friend (Ms. Danielle Allen) on the 2007 Center For Disability Services Telethon. Thanks.

Hey,

Do you know you can get an american idol coin which will feature 2 finalists on 2 sides? Well, I got mine from americanidolcoin.com.

C ya.

I know it's old stuff but it's so funny. You are funny, Micheal Sk.

daisyj Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 04:29 PM EST

See, I thought Paula's worked better as poetry- these sound more like song lyrics. Seriously, try the Elliot one to the tune of the Idol producers' favorite song, "Bad Day". It almost kinda works!

JJ Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 04:05 PM EST

he's really getting on my nerves. and so is paula. i'm convinced they're both on a different planet. i mean your on the number one show in the world and that's the best you can come up with? judges from skating with celebrities made better critiques. no wonder the contestants have been so inconsistent this season.

Annie Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 03:13 PM EST

Randy Jacksons lack of proper english is so bad he is ebonicly challenged.

Charlotte Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 02:11 PM EST

It's no fair rhyming 'yo' with 'yo' a dozen times.

Ep Sato Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 01:03 PM EST

Oh man, ya'll are making me really miss Nipsy Russell.

Stephanie Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 09:53 AM EST

Yep, Randy needs a vocabulary. However, it could have been worse. He could sound like "Deputy Dawg" and say that the bad Idols stepped in the "Creek Mud".

pfitz Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 09:43 AM EST

This works better as "poetry" than the Paula comments.

GOB Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 08:25 AM EST

Randy needs a vocabulary.

Jakeem Thu, Apr 27, 2006 at 07:52 AM EST

You should go back to Paula haiku.
