I happen to agree with Banks there are a few typos and grammar errors in the comments. After all its people like Banks that have nothing better to do then to search around the web reading interviews of well known people. I guess because his life is so boring that he needs to read about somebody else playing a fictitious character. Common bank these are just fans writing quick comments on a movie they hope to see. Not a English exam for some adolescent prick to leave derogatory comments about them. So there may be a few typos only you could be so anal to point them out then to sit and read them all. What do you do for a living or is this your living you have no job but surf around the net making yourself feel superior and to others. So who is the 5 year old now Banks? Actually I would place you around 13 just old enough to type and think you can act like a big man behind the computer screen. After reading all of the posted comments, I do have to say that every one of you sound like a 5 year old (and spell like one, too). Part 4 of the Indiana Jones series has been long-awaited by those of the more mature generation. Considering that this will be his final "Jones" film, and also considering that this movie will once again bring together the forces of such greats as Spielberg and Lucas, it is certain to be the best of the best.

I personally can't wait for the new edition to the Indy series. I just hope they can pull Sean Connery out of retirement. I read that Connery is sick of the idiots in Hollywood and it would take a Mafia type offer he can't refuse to get him to do another movie. If I was writting the script I would make to where Connery was really his adopted dad and so he would search for his real dad. Only to find that James Earl Jones was his real dad. LOL no really James Earl Jones is one of my favorite actors.

Well this is a tought one. Harrison ford is not too old for the part, he is still a very fit man. I mean the stunts or physical acting (whatever Harrison calls it) in firewall was great for a man his age. If Indy has a son in Indy 4 then yes, it would be great! You could then continue the legacy long after ford as the main character, and he could still play the father role like Connery did in the last crusade.

I am begining to come round to the idea of Indy 4. As much as i love the triology (well, love to strong a word to describe how i feel for 2), i think a fourth would be a decent 2hrs. Remember if any people can make an old man cool on screen, its got to be Mr Lucas and Mr Speilberg. OK, Mr Speilberg only - Lucas would probably mess it up.

I think Harrison is a gifted actor and if they are really considering the movie then they should go ahead im sure he's up to it I mean come on he's in his sixties and still jumping thro windows!! And it would make the movie a must see if they included Sean Connery I’m sure they’d rake in the Dow if they hade two or three major actors. I just hope its not going to be a flop they really need to think the story thro something that will wow the audience after eighteen years of waiting for yet another Indiana movie. In my opinion they should go all out in there budget bringing back Indiana Jones will probably be the best Spielberg film since the first Jurassic park and I don’t think im overstating!!

As much as I LOVE and ADORE Bredan Fraiser! ( I do - he is wonderful- hilarious - gorgeous.. ok don't get me started..) I don't think he should do Indiana 4 - he has his one Action Hero Series with the Mummy stories.

But I do think there would be a possible SON/DAUGHTER with (well) any of the chicks he um romanced?( in lack of a better word.. ) in one of the other Indy movies.

And No, Harrison is not to old.. bet ya he can whooop us all ;-)

OMG! It should open with Indy going into a bar (like Arc did-only its a different bar) only this time he's asking to see the owner of the bar because the only person serving drinks is some pretty little thing who looks for all the world like the personification of 'delicate flower'.
So it's kind of a shock when she glances up sharply and roughly says "who's asking?" and bemused he says "Mr.Jones" to which she just tilts her head to the side and looks like she's contemplating it. So even more bemused he says "And you, what's your name Sweetheart?" and she looks angry for a second before calming herself down and smiling leans over the bar and says "Friends of the owner call me Ana" And he goes "Ana- that's a pretty name," and she says, still leaning over the bar and smirking goes "Yeah, you should know (pause, before she looks him in the eye smirking) Indiana?" and he looks startled to which she suddenly knocks off all the drinks on the counter between them while saying angrily "she always said you'd show up again one day, but I figured you'd be smarter than that-" and here she suddenly swings and punches him really, really hard (like Arc) "Dad".

And then if I had COMPLETE control over the plotline there'd be a gangly kind of boy, probably blonde (maybe a dressed-down Hayden Christienson?) and he'd be her ex and somehow or other they'd have to go travelling to find her mother (presumed Marianne) who suddenly disapeered a few days back (and Indiana thinks is connected to his showing up, which the audience knows but they don't) and somehow or other they end up in a restaurant and Indiana says "here let me go" but the boy holds him back and just shakes his head and Ana goes up to the table where a pretty girl around her age is and kisses her on the lips, and Indie goes "Well then she must be my daughter- she has good taste in woman" and the boy looks bemused and goes "And men" and then they have to fight people and the whole idea of it is Indie isn't really quite willing to admit to the genes, but the one thing the two get along with is woman so there's a few laughs (she never brings up the genes again) and also grows to get along with the boy too, whom he believes is hopelessly in love with his daughter, but that she broke up with him (or they never really went out and had like a one-night fling or something) and doesn't want him so he tries to give the boys pointers about woman to which the boy listens respectfully but gives him a quizical look to which Indie takes to mean self-esteem issues and doubt.

So then they finally arrive and it's- Steven Speilberg's wife! and everyone (including Indie) is like "wahhhhhh" and then to further the "wahhhh" moment the to suddenly turns to the girl-presumed-Indie's-daughter and goes something along the lines of "no matter what happens you know I love you, right?" and she goes "don't be cheesy, she's right there, and nothings in the way!" and he says "just in case there's a trap" looking slightly hurt so then she pulls him back right before he leaves and kisses him and says the same line back and Indie goes "I thought you hated him!" and she goes "then why would I marry him?" and it all turns out that when she said "Dad" sarcastically she meant it sarcastically because he'd be her father-in-law...but theb Marianne shows up too and he's slightly afraid (cause you know, what if they BOTH were his children?! type thing) but of course that's not it, but the two woman started a bar chain on their own (with a name that somehow mocks their ex-love intrest) and Indie realizes that while spending time with the girl he thought if as his daughter he realized how much he missed Marianne and she tells him Steven Spealiberg's wife is married (abd maybe makes an inside joke refrencing theur children or one of his movies) and he says "good-cause its you I missed" and they kiss and then pandora's box looks like its about to be opened in the background but te boy (who is Indie's son of course) yells stop and shoots the swords guy before he opens it. andthen Indie and Maruane go back to making out and that's the end.

I'm sure they'll deal with his age in the movie, so it will probably be ok. I have only one request, NO KATE CAPSHAW, please, I would rather they pair Harrison Ford with Tom Selleck and do a brokeback version of Indiana Jones than suffer through any scenes with Kate Capshaw struggling to act. But seriously, they need to get Karen Allen back, Indy and Marion belong together.

Send Indy to look for the Crown of Thorns. And please, if he's going to have a son (i.e. a younger sidekick to take the brunt of the physical demands, which is a rumor I heard), make it someone cool, like maybe Joaquin Phoenix? His brother did a good job playing Young Indy, so why not keep it in the family?

Thanks to Blade Runner and Star Wars, Harrison will always be a star in my eyes. I loved the Indiana Jones series and would love to see them brought back.

If Roger Moore and Sean Connery could play Bond well into their old age, I think we can give ole' Harrison one more shot at the role.

I've got to agree with the folks who said they need to do this movie now or never though. The talks for Indy 4 have gone on for more than 10 years, enough to make the series itself more a piece of modern archeology than something recent.

Pass the Indy torch on Harrison. Yuck - don't want to see a senior citizen doing physical stunts (oh excuse me - I mean "physical acting").

Although never the friendliest of actors, he is such a cranky-pants (would it kill the guy to smile?!) and more unlikeable as he ages. The only sequel Harrison should consider doing is Grumpy Old Men!!

When I said Indianna Jones one more time I meant a sequel. Listen to him do interveiws. You can almost hear him say "Kids get out of my yard". Maybe if they got a younger guy to play his son or grandson. But, there is something to be said for not ruining the memories of great movies by running the franchise into the ground.

As a die hard Indy and Harrison Ford fan I can't wait for this to happen. I've been snapping up every tidbit of info on the project I can find for years now. I don't believe he's too old, even if the past few years havn't been as kind to him...and from what I've heard they might go with a story arch that is found in the latest Indy games. In Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine he's up against communist Russia and Stalin which, in my opinion, successfully accounts for the age difference.

I've long assumed the story might have something to do with the Far East, perhaps something related to Buddhism (a natural religion to go to if one looks at the olther films focusing on Judaism, Hinduism and Christianity respectively).
