'Fatal Attraction': LL Cool J and Corey Feldman

Great minds think alike. Both LL Cool J and Corey Feldman are starring in remakes of Fatal Attraction. LL's is apparently serious, the first installment in a multi-pic deal with Lions Gate, which hopes the pectorally-blessed rapper-actor will attract an underserved market of African-American women. The other is a current Off Broadway spoof, in which Feldman is getting positive reviews (here and here) for his parodic Michael Douglas impersonation, which includes busting some Michael Jackson-esque dance moves. (Wonder who he learned those from? Oh yeah. Ewww.) Who's next? Well, let's see, who else could benefit from some Fatal Career Resurrection? Umm... Greg the Bunny?

LL, Please stop making movies! I thought you were alright as a rap artist back in 1991 (when you made your famous comeback), and I could get some giggles occasionally from "In the House", but LL, the guy who told you that you can act? Someone needs to make sure that guy never works in hollywood again.

Please Hollywood, no more rappers turned actors (Mos Def and Andre 2000 are exempted from this rule).

It's full circle, isn't it? LL played "Alex Forrest" in an SNL spoof about Sean Penn's jail stint, and now he's doing the remake? Priceless! :)

LL Cool J is so tired. I'm so tired of studios thinking that I (as an African American woman) am so interested in going to see the same old faces over and over again. There's more than 3 black actors out there, Hollywood!
