Survivor: Cagayan continued its strong run with another memorable episode and a Tribal Council shocker. My full recap will be up at midnight [UPDATE: Dalton's Survivor recap is now live!], but if you’d like to sound off on what happened and who went home, then read on for more. [SPOILER ALERT: Read on only if you already watched tonight’s episode of Survivor: Cagayan.]
There was a big tribe switcheroo on tonight’s episode of Survivor: Cagayan, as three tribes became two, and the former Brawn team members seemed to be in a major position of power with a five-to-two numbers advantage on the new Solana tribe. But after losing the immunity challenge, they discovered that a numbers advantage doesn’t mean a thing if you can’t keep your numbers in line. Knowing they were at the bottom of their alliance, twerking enthusiast Trish and Jersey cop Tony flipped to join Beauties LJ and Jefra in a new fearsome foursome that eliminated a shocked Cliff, leaving Lindsay and Woo now in the minority.
It was a bold and dangerous move — dangerous because LJ and Jefra could easily re-form with their former Beauties at the merge and pick off Tony and Trish. Of course, seeing as how those other Beauties are all now disowning each other at the new Aparri and trying to crawl into bed with the Brains (not literally, unfortunately), that may not be such a danger after all.
All of a sudden all the power in the game has shifted to the people that previously had none: Trish and Tony from the Brawn side, and the previously inept Brain bunch, who now have their pick of the litter when it comes to whom they want to team up with from the Beauties. My full recap will be up soon, but hit the message boards here to weigh in with your thoughts. Did Trish and Tony make the right move? Are the Brains now in control of the game? Will you miss Cliff?
