The Georgia peaches have returned! NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks, Porsha Stewart, and Kenya Moore are back for a sixth season of shade, drama, and even more shade on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
Feel like you don’t know enough? Click through for six facts about the ladies that will get you set for the season 6 premiere tonight.
1. NeNe’s a real “Housewife”
Atlanta’s original Housewife and the last one standing, NeNe has gone through marital bliss, trouble, and bliss again. She’s returned (and still very “rich, bitch”) after a run in Hollywood as a prime-time actress on The New Normal and Glee. However, there’s a bit of adjustment NeNe will have to face as a newlywed and in-between-gigs actress with more time on her hands.
2. Porsha’s divorced
After a messy split that played out in public (thanks, TMZ), Porsha, the youngest and latest addition to the Georgia peaches, is no more a Mrs. Now she’s ready to get back to the real Porsha, but there may be an emotional price to pay.
3. Kenya’s still twirling on her own
The former Miss USA is still twirling — all the way to the bank. The body and face behind Kenya Moore’s Booty Boot Camp, Moore has returned to the ATL and is ready to find love (if she hasn’t already), but she’ll have a hard time mending the bridges she’s burned with the other Housewives.
4. Phaedra’s juggling it all — again
As a mother, wife, lawyer, emerging mortician, and donkologist, Phaedra is the quintessential Jill of All Trades. Now with a new baby, Phaedra is ready to take on the joys of motherhood once again. One complication? Phaedra will have to tackle some drama between her husband, Apollo Nida, and provocative castmate Kenya.
5. Kandi’s engaged, but for how long?
Kandi’s found love, but her mother Joyce is not too pleased about her soon-to-be husband Todd Tucker (Mama Joyce wasn’t too thrilled about Kandi’s fiancé A.J. Jewell back in season 2, either). This season will chronicle how the strained relationship between Mama Joyce and Todd affects Kandi.
6. Cynthia’s in the business of marriage, for better or worse
The Bailey Agency has become a family affair as Cynthia’s model operation has merged with husband Peter Thomas, who serves as a landlord to her new location. However, Cynthia’s marriage will be tested as she learns the hard way that business and personal affairs should not mix… again.
Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
