Just in time for the holiday season — and the Sept. 24 season premiere of Saturday Night Live hosted by Alec Baldwin — Ben & Jerry’s has introduced its newest limited-batch flavor, Schweddy Balls. It’s inspired by the classic 1998 SNL sketch in which Pete Schweddy (Baldwin), the fictional owner of Season’s Eatings Bakery, brings his Schweddy Balls to the hosts (Ana Gasteyer and Molly Shannon) of “Delicious Dish,” a National Public Radio program parody. Watch it again below. The flavor features Fair Trade vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum and loaded with fudge covered rum balls and milk chocolate malt balls.
“For a long time, I thought that ‘Here Lies Pete Schweddy’ would end up on my tombstone,” Baldwin says in a release. “Now, thanks to Ben & Jerry’s, the goodness of the Schweddy family recipe won’t go with me to the great beyond.”
Gasteyer is equally thrilled: ”The Schweddy Balls sketch was a personal favorite from my SNL run, so I am pleased as holiday punch that Ben & Jerry’s has taken it upon themselves to share the Schweddy Family recipe with the world. As a person and a performer, I am a sucker for holiday balls. And I have no doubt this ice cream will cause many to scream ‘Good Times.’”
Is this best limited-batch flavor to date? Or just the best name?

LOVE IT!!! LOL
I am 44 years of age! I have had Multiple Sclerosis since Junior year at Indiana University! I am also a breast cancer survivor! I am 5′ 7″ 137 pounds and people say I am beautiful! I say, “I am just Tracy”!
Poor sweet r-tard Tracy, with her overuse of the exclamation point.
Just a few minutes ago, Whoopi talked about them – but she stated that she couldn’t say the name! She made the gals guess it! Course, she made them guess sweaty, not schweddy.
I wish I could try it, but I have an excessive rat problem in my apartment.
Oh man, that sounds really good! LOL
Well, there’s no beating his balls.
Good TImes..
I can’t wait to get my mouth around those balls!
You stole my comment. LOL
Lmao girl!!! Too friggin funny! I’m with ya!!
GULP….YUMMMY…HEY HOW ABOUT SOME MANSCAPING FIRST, HELP A BROTHER OUT
One of the funniest SNL skits ever…
love it can’t wait to taste those misshapen balls
I love how the balls smell.
In actuality an aegvare will not notice a great deal of difference in performance over all one ball to another. The place where any golfer will feel the difference is around the green ..The Pro V 1 s with their softer cover will feel different. That said. There is a lot of bunk in a lot of the previous answers. Give Tiger a Top Flite from 25 feet ( Off the green and he will control the spin to have a t worst a tap in put. Give him a Dunlop DDH from 130 yds and he will put into 1 put range. Those examples just go to show its more about the swing than it is about the ball. Just buying more expensive balls will not lower your score ..A better and more consistent swing will lower your scores.
“South Park” and Chef feel left out right now….
Wow same asker lol. I think the Pro V’s and Nike One’s can get you more distance, as you know, but they are somteimes hard to control. I went to a Swing Analyzer to measure my clubhead speed and based on that he recommended a few brands. My swing is not fast enough for the big names and I am ok with that. I get outdriven all the time, but I am usually taking my next shot from the fairway while my partners look for their crushed drives in the woods.I now use a Srixon Soft Feel and have had success with their other balls in my MPH range. No, I don’t work for them
Awesome tribute to one of the funniest SNL skits EVER. Way to go, Ben and Jerry…
If we order them in bulk, will they ship them to us in a Schweddy Ball sack?
Brilliant.
+1
This is AWESOME! Now if only they could do a “More Cowbell” ice cream, that would be perfect.
I got a fever. And it’s prescription is more cowbell!
It’s really more of a natural fit for ice cream… you’ve got the cow. Although the Schweddy Balls was an actual food product (in the sketch) so they had something to go off of.
I may have to go off my diet to try this one.
I can’t wait to taste Ben & Jerry’s sweaty balls.
