Definitely concur on the Busy Phillips snub. Best comedy EWwy for Cougar Town altogether? That show was pure comical genius last year.
Oh maybe a nom for Happy Endings too. And I would give a supporting actress in drama nod to KaDee Strickland for her work on PP last year. She was STELLAR.

Handing out a golden ewe? Great. At least it’s better then MTV’s golden popcorn.

Comedy Series: Community. I mean, for the love of God, it was the most hysterical, inventive comedy on television this year….and then nothing? Shameful.
Drama Series: Shameless. I’m not sure how large the fanbase is for this, but I was floored with the depth of emotion and feeling presented this season. Definitely worth considering.

Because I’m boring those are the two things I really care about: Emmy Rossum and William H. Macy for Drama Lead Actor and Actress, and Alison Brie, Donald Glover, and Danny Pudi for the supporting comedy awards.

Also, Nick Offerman and Adam Scott for Parks and Rec. definitely deserve supporting actor nominations.

I like Community, don’t get me wrong – but I felt it was lacking this year. There are much funnier shows on television than Community in my opinion, especially compared with its previous seasons.

      • MSR

Meaning its previous seasons were much funnier than the current one and THOSE were deserving of Emmy attention.

      • Jamie

Even if you feel that way (and personally I thought the 2nd season was better) you have admit to that it was still a better show than Glee, The Office, 30 Rock and TBBT. Therefore it deserved to be nominated.

      • Laura

Yes, I agree that this last season was not as funny as the previous.

      • Shiva

I agree this season wasn’t as funny as the first but it was still better than 95% of the other comedies on tv.

  • Alex
