EW can exclusively confirm that Stana Katic, best known for playing Detective Kate Beckett on ABC’s Castle, will voice the character of Talia al Ghul in the upcoming video game Batman: Arkham City, the follow-up to 2009′s much-beloved Batman: Arkham Asylum. There’s no word yet on how Talia will figure into the game’s storyline. In the comics, Talia is the frequently conflicted daughter of Ra’s al Ghul, one of Batman’s archenemies. In spite of this, Talia is often a love interest for the Dark Knight. The two even get married at one point, with Talia giving birth to Batman’s son, Damian Wayne. Whether any of these subplots figure into Batman: Arkham City is unknown, but color me intrigued. The game, which was one of EW’s favorite games at E3 this year, allows you to play as both Batman and Catwoman, and is set in Arkham City, the heavily fortified prison within Gotham that houses many of the Caped Crusader’s most notorious adversaries. Katic’s involvement in the game will be announced later today at a Comic-Con panel for Batman: Arkham City, which hits stores Oct. 18 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Great casting as Stana should be able to pull off just the right tone to Talia’s voice. Usually those who have done her voice seem to “overdo” the accent. I think Stana should nail it as I thought they should cast her as Talia in Dark Knight Rises before they announced which characters were going to be in it. I thought it could bring the trilogy full circle by having Talia “mix it up” with Batman and then have him learn that Ra’s is still alive.
i think they already have someone playing her though. its unfortunate they didnt pick her though but then again maybe its a good thing i sure dont want to be getting arrested on my bday on opening night for pulling a pee wee lol

If you’d read the title, you’d see that they said that the photo was exclusive, not the story.
And if you read the article it says her casting is exclusive.
Plus, I believe they added the “Exclusive Photo” part afterwards.
