Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will probably never win an Oscar, at least to judge by her pouting non-performance in the latest Michael Bay robo-stravaganza, which I believe was called Transformers: Dark of the Moon River Wider Than a Mile. But to be fair, Charles Laughton did win an Oscar, and for all of Charles Laughton’s incredible acting talent, no one ever begged Charles Laughton to pose for an advertisement wearing nothing but a trenchcoat. But that’s exactly what Huntington-Whiteley has done in a new campaign for Burberry Body. (Check out a full-sized image here.) I have no idea what Burberry Body is, but I’ll buy several, please!
Huntington-Whiteley hasn’t signed up for any post-Transformers acting jobs, so perhaps she is ceding her generation’s great hope for a supermodel-turned-actress on fellow angel Brooklyn Decker. Or maybe she has decided that the greatest role she can play… is herself.
