Wow! I have to say I am impressed with the level of STUPIDITY this article fell too! Clearly this is just one of those pieces to “rile everyone up” and “hate on the summer blockbuster” I’m not impressed. Being a HUGE fan of the original cartoon, all of these movies, AND being a resident of Chicago, I can legit say… “Way to go idiot! You really just don’t get it!” And you can quote me on that. You were probably forced to write this article by a Decepticon in order to smear Optimus’ good name. Are you a ‘Dylan’ Darren???

Wait a minute. Darren… there are two previous Transformer films, and in both of them, Autobots are being screwed over by scared, cruel, vicious humans who lie to them (which continues into the 2rd film). Sorry about your cousin’s death in the (fictional) 3rd chapter… but if it takes Pearl Harbor to get us into the fight during WWII (with England already sticking it’s neck greatly out), perhaps it takes Chicago to get humanity to trust the Autobots.

This Guy is a joke, if you don’t like Bay movies don’t watch them. Also get your facts straight about the movie before you write anything, if not you come across as stupid. It seems to me that the douchebag is the Guy who wrote this BS article.
That movie was for those of us who grew up watching Transformers. It is a Robot violence driven franchise. It’s not Dances with wolves or Bridges of Madison County. It should really fall into the category of a shoot em up. You want drama and intellect go to the opera! For @#%^ sakes that movie was awesome!!! I’m planing on taking my son back to see it again this time in 3d for his birthday this month. As far as the killing goes; thats like saying if Hitler got caught alive in his bunker should he have been treated with mercy? No I think not. Seriously there really does come a time to put down the bad guys. Geez its not Sociopathic its more like do what needs to be done. Optimus is the leader of an Alien race not a social worker. I love how people in society find something wrong with the execution of mass murders like really ok lets keep you alive so maybe one day that happens again. Kinda coincidental how another mass murderer Osama bin laden was just recently killed in similar fashion! YAY for the good guys!
Could not be more wrong. This is Optimus as I always saw him, a general. And Bay gets the loint that peace is not the end of fighting, but the destruction of evil. As for the double tap on Sentinel Prime, he was a traitor in time of war, even the United States executes wartime trators.
Lets not forget, Optimus would have had his head chopped off by Sentinel if it wasnt for Megatron running in there and single-handidly whopped Sentinel’s ass hardcore. Course it was the only good thing Megatron does in the whole movie. Megs calls for a truce and Optimus thanks him by decapitating him, way to go A-hole!!
He doesn’t really call for a truce and he has nothing else to do. He says he’ll stop the war as long as OP let’s him be in charge. Pointing out that OP would be nothing without him. In other words the whole cycle of death and betrayal goes on forever until Megatron is the boss or dead. Tough choice?
Frankly I think you guys are all ridiculous. I thought the movie was pretty good. It certainly dragged itself out a little, but it was still good. You’re forgetting the fact that hey, ultimately it’s still a movie about robots. Stop taking it so seriously. As for Optimus Prime? I think they did an amazing job. Sentinel was in my opinion, equivalent to Hitler. Yes, Hitler. Hey was planning on destroying our planet and using us as slaves! Would like for Hitler to have been sent to prison? Nope. Sentinel had to die.
Go F**k yourselves….Its a good movie.
You complain like a tiny little kid. You have to understand that they have only made three movies and that there have been years of comics and anime. How much characterization can you really put in 5 hours of movies while keeping the crowed interested. Quite wining and if you want the rest of the story line then look it up. Also in Dark of the Moon did he ever say it wasn’t his fault? No, Sam did and Prime knew that he was just trying make him feel better. Now I’m all for Prime’s destruction but this is just plan crap.
The movie (which was totally awesome) is based on fighting toys. FIGHTING TOYS. The fact that you can even try to be half serious about this review is pretty douchy in itself. They have guns for hands and you think they should take them into custody? That makes sense….

I haven’t seen the movie, and have no opinion of it, but your “review” is nothing but the ranting of a childish, unsophisticated fool, who lacks the intellect or education to do anything but litter an article with vulgarities, and probably lived with his parents far too long, if you still don’t. The very fact that this movie is doing so well proves its not all this guy has to say about it, i personally am taking my family to it. We are looking forward to seeing it. so dont listen to peckerwoods like thsi guy, who mixes real life with fiction… go see it for yourself and reply here what this guy missed to enjoy.
