At last night’s New York premiere of their new movie Water for Elephants, Reese Witherspoon cleared up a comment she reportedly made about being disappointed with her sex scene with Robert Pattinson because he was suffering from a horrible cold. “Let’s just get something straight: It’s still a sex scene with Rob Pattinson. I was havin’ a very good time,” she told Access Hollywood. Pattinson joked that Witherspoon had a better answer prepared for that question. “I only texted you that, I wasn’t gonna say that out loud,” she said. Asked if Witherspoon’s comment had hurt his feelings, Pattinson quipped, “No, I know she secretly likes it. I mean, she likes it a little bit dirty. I shouldn’t have said that on TV either … Green mucus, that’s our thing.” Watch the interview below. Witherspoon saves the conversation by insisting regardless, the sex scene is “really sexy.” They seem to have good chemistry. I’ll buy that.Â

LOL
Looking forward to seeing this movie this weekend!!
Oh. My. Goodness. I can’t wait to watch this film! Those two are an onscreen match made in heaven.. that’s right – HEAVEN!
He is quite funny and Reese looks awfully cute.
That’s pretty funny. He seems easy to get along with.
Is it just me or is this movie coming off a little bit Titanic in the previews? That’s one of the main reasons this movie is becoming a major turn-off for me…unoriginal idea.
Hazel, I thought the same thing. I realize it doesn’t take place on a sinking ship but the previews did remind me of Titanic (quite a bit actually). Not sure if I’ll see it yet or just wait to rent it but it doesn’t look bad to me.
The book was fantastic and I love the 30s era feel to it. The cinematography, I predict, is going to be nominated for an Oscar. I really can’t wait for this film to come out. Great story, excellent director, wonderful actors. How can it miss. I hope the critics support it. They can make or break a film somewhat arbitrarily, it seems to me. Look at what a few did to Remember Me, a decent film with an interesting story line and excellent acting. I think sometimes they give a bad review just because they can or because they want to bring someone on top down. I am hoping for more honesty and credit where it is due this time around. Best of luck to Rob, Reese, and Christophe.
Remember Me was actually not that good of a movie and deserved its “panning.”
I read the book and thoroughly enjoyed it…can’t wait for the movie…especially since they have cast such wonderful people in all the roles. Trust me, if it is true to the book, this is not The Titanic.
Hazel, Don’t worry, the story is nothing like Titanic. The only similarity is that the heroine is attached to a not so nice guy. Enjoy!
love the premiere, rob was great with the fans and reese look an dress was beautiful fitted.
I hate Titanic but am looking forward to WFE
LOL. They are so cute together. I really like their friendship. My favorite conversation is still the one where he called her old lady. Hahahahaha
I am very much looking forward to this film. I am a fan of both Rob Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon. They have excellent material to work with and seem to have great chemistry. The film looks beautiful. I am very hopeful that the audiences will love the story and the actors.
I am actually taking the day off work to see this movie… I have been looking forward to it for some time and I am a huge Reese fan and absolutely adore Rob Pats!
