In typical Bravo-lebrity fashion, Kyle Richards is hinting at an early exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. After making her debut on the 90210’s output of Bravo’s successful franchise last fall, Kyle quickly asserted herself as the “normal” one with the “solid” marriage and the “happy” family. (Unless Allison DuBois is concerned.) The Demi Moore doppelgänger seemed genuinely likable, with a hot, supportive husband and enviable Rapunzel-length hair. But while the show was lauded a season of excess and luxury in one of the most infamous zip codes in the world, watching Beverly Hills gradually went from laughing at middle-aged women’s horrible dancing and attempts to seductively eat cotton candy, to cringing at the dissolution of a marriage (Camille and Kelsey Grammer) and a castmate’s excessive drinking (Kim Richards).
But the aunt to Paris and Nicky Hilton isn’t confirming a departure just yet. “The show has been picked up for a second season, but I’m not sure if I’m coming back yet,” she told E! over the weekend. While rumors about new cast members have been moving as fast as Lisa Vanderpump down an L.A. freeway, Bravo is keeping mum on possible additions. “The only thing we’ve announced is that the show is coming back for a second season,” a rep for the network told EW. Would Kyle’s potential absence make you less likely to watch? As long as Lisa has Giggy and Adrienne Maloof continues to wear outfits like this, I’ll be tuning in, but which Housewives do you need to make it through a second season? Should Kyle Richards return to Real Housewives, PopWatchers? (Or, in a season that was tainted by such heavy events, should any of them?)
Of course, Kyle’s not the first Real Housewife to flirt with life outside of Bravo’s brightly colored walls. (But Danielle Staub and Bethenny Frankel she is not.) Will she simply ride off into the Housewives sunset (relatively) unscathed, or become another forgotten former reality star like Kimberly Bryant and DeShawn Snow? (Who? Exactly.) And are these one-season-wonder ladies smart for bowing out before the dance singles and SVU gigs, or stupid for missing the chance to market their own wine?

No interest if Kim or Kyle aren’t in it. Someone should give those gals their own show. At least they have talent as accomplished, professional actresses.

I agree. Despite how “heavy” their relationship got. Kim and Kyle were a selling point for BH. Isn’t this supposed to be reality. I would think people’s lives get “heavy”
Kyle should definately stay. She is more like a normal person and interesting. Kim, on the other hand, is wishy-washy and I don’t really care for her that much.

Gee, I don’t know what show you watched but Kyle stopped being liked half-way through the season with her over the top hatred of Camille and her mel gibson tirade in the limo while Kim sat back whimpering like a child.
Yes, if she did not come back I would miss her because the screen loves her type A+ personality. But…. likeable she is not. Nor is she the most “normal”.
Actually, Kyle was still well-liked. Not everyone liked how she treated her sister but realized that’s how dealing with sisters (and alcoholics) can be sometimes. If she leaves, I’ll still tune in but I have to admit, she and Lisa are my favorites on the show.
“Actually, Kyle was still well-liked.” Isn’t this rather subjective. I thought Kyle ended up being the least likable as the season went on, but I also have this weird tolerance for all Bravo housewives where I’m incapable of actually disliking any of them except for Miami’s Christy.
To Fatima-I’m the same way–except for the entire Miami cast. Usually I can watch ANY RH season, Miami was so bad it made DC look good!

If you had to deal with an alcoholic family member as she did.. Probably suffering for years… You would understand kyle’s behavior. There’s a point when you hit a wall and as unfortunate as it was that Kyle hit her wall on camera it’s real, and having gone through a very similar situation (sans the millions, or child-stardom) I personally love Kyle all the more.
I found her to likeable and articulate. I hope he sister is back too. People’s lives are messy. It’s how they live while coping with the mess that’s interesting. I like that she’s a serious mom and wife. Her family is her life. I relate to that.
I think she’s just bluffing hoping that Bravo will increase her pay. She was so likable until the last episode–and they never really addressed what happened with her and Kim. I definitely don’t want to watch Heidi or that Brandi chick. Ugh.
Lisa is lovely and down to earth with a lovely British sense of humor. Miss Jiggy too!
Considering that Season 2 of the RHBH has already begun filming season 2.
Love adrienne and Lisa. .Kim, Kyle, Camille are ok. Taylor ugh. So basically if Adrienne or Lisa leaves, so do I. If Kim Kyle Camille stay or go, meh either way. If Taylor stays, I go!
straight after the show he borrowed 20 quid and fuekcd off to the pub where he referred to all the jolly fellows within as Mate and drank till the darkened void of reality completely fuekcd off as well.

I liked Kyle in the beginning and then ended up hating her. I couldn’t believe how she attacked the woman who was dancing with her husband at her White Party. She acted like a jealous high school girl. And I hated the way she always demeaned her sister Kim and talked down to her. Her jealousy over Camille was CRAZY. I hope she doesn’t come back. She’s a loser
i think kyle is awsome and camille is the most gross person with double standards i cant believe her friends cant see through her .she carries on how she doesnt hold onto things and yet she still going on about kyle.
There are still some of the older generation in Britain who don’t trust and use banks. Daft relaly, if the bank gets robbed or blown up by terrorists, there’s a government guarantee to protect your money, not if you keep it in your house (unless your insurance will cover it, which usually costs extra).
Kyle is vile. Would watch it and invite 50 friends to do the same if she was NO LONGER ON IT!

I liked Kyle at first, but at the end of the show hated her. She was cruel to her sister and seem to have an issue with drinking herself. Taylor VaJayJay Lips needs to go.
Kyle is by far my favorite. As for how she treats her sister, there is a lot of family history that we know nothing about. And Kyle is not jealous of Camille – who would be? Camille is a manipulator and causes a lot of the problems. Kyle is the most normal to me because we have seen her take care of her own children, unlike Camille who had 4 nannies for 2 children` and complained about how hard it is to raise children. There is so much judgement in the U.S. – if you don’t like someone just don’t watch the show.
