Charlie Sheen cut out the media middleman and took his rantings and ramblings live on the internet Saturday night. And guess what? He’s no Howard Stern. The actor’s live webcam broadcast, which he called “Sheen’s Korner” and began at 10:02 EST, was a sloppy, self-indulgent bit of cringe theater that felt more like cable-access snoozefest than a cogent broadcast. As the clock ticked down to Sheen’s arrival, a live ticker of the number of viewers who’d already tuned in hit 50,000 then 60,000 finally climbing to well over 100,000. Then, at 10:02, Sheen walked into the frame wearing a black pork pie hat and a black t-shirt with a green $ sign on it. With him was a posse of chuckleheads and enablers, including one of his goddesses — the non-porn star one, Natty Kenly.
As Sheen took a seat behind the desk of what appeared to be the office of his Sherman Oaks home, he lit a cigarette and began to riff on whatever popped into his warlock brain. It was painfully unfunny, completely boring, and not even fun in a trainwreck sort of way. I never thought I’d say this, but I would’ve rather been watching an episode of Two and a Half Men.
Sheen took swipes at Dr. Drew Pinsky, gave props to Sean Penn, quoted Wall Street, and showed photos of cats beating up dogs. I lost count of how many times he said “winning” — the tired catchphrase that he also revealed that he’d just had tattooed onto the inside of his left wrist. The worst part is that Sheen told viewers that this would be the first broadcast of many. The big question is, who will keep tuning in? After all, as “Sheen’s Korner” passed the 10 minute mark, the number of viewers started going down. Perhaps fittingly, that’s when he started reading some poetry before signing off, mercifully, at 10:52.

Just watched the broadcast myself. You did a great job of getting this article up so fast. Very accurate depiction.
he’s the world’s most famous crackhead/cokehead
Always research before commenting, lest you slander someone’s father without knowing the facts. If you watch his ABC 20/20 interview (on their site), he took & PASSED a drug test.
that was last week, a few weeks before that he was a crack head.
ResearchRules, he may have taken a drug test but he admitted “banging 7 gram rocks” on national TV. So before you go castigating someone for slander, of all things (at best, it’d be libel), YOU should do YOUR research.
OK … Charlie’s 15 minutes of WHACK FAME is taking a nosedive. Finally !!
Charlie continue to prove that without writers and a script, he is basically nothing but an overpaid spoiled no-talent. He has done himself no favors with this media blitz. Watch for the unraveling to become fast and furious when he finally realizes his importance is only self justified. He has become the butt of all jokes.
Next stop – Forest lawn
Hey – all you have to do to pass a drug test for cocaine is not use it for about 72 hours before the test. So everyone who is praising Charlie for passing a drug test is a little bit misinformed. You don’t use for 3 days, take the test to get a clean result, then start using again right after the test. Having one clean test means nothing – he needs to be tested RANDOMLY to prove he’s clean.
Oh you’re sooo right, “Research”. I mean, clearly Sheen is an upstanding, high-quality, go-to kind of guy. How could we POSSIBLY speak badly of him?!?!?
Sure, he passed a drug test, yay!!
But think…it means he is talking without the influence of any drug, and he’s not making sense, the only possible explanation: His brain is damaged beyond repair!
Someone didn’t watch SNL…he used baby urine, lol.
The drug test only means he had no drugs in his body BEFORE the test, not for the rest of his life!! LOL I’ll bet we won’t see another one, and if this is Sheen off drugs, WOW!!
My friend owns a medical marijuana shop. He sells hookas and vaporizers and he also sells a bunch of new stuff that can clean your system out in the matter of hours. And the stuff works because he has a stead flow of costumers that buy it weekly.
people need to learn more about addiction before throwing stones. charlie is a addict or alcoholic which is one in the same. addicts are not their true selves when using. this is a disease and charlie hasnt hit his rock bottom yet,but when he does he will seek help on his own . you cannot be pushed into treatment .you have to want it and he will in his own time.i’m not saying he’s doing things right but i’m saying he is sick and soon his disease will progress and many people are praying it’s not to late. i am a recovering addict and i’m not ashamed of it today and he will come around and realize what is going on with this disease and seek help
Oh boo hoo, Chris Nashawaty is jealous and butthurt. He should go back to writing articles about how “funny” Jerry Lewis is. Looosseeer!
Jealous? What would ANYONE have to be jealous over? The guy beats up women and is mentally unstable. What’s really interesting that Sheen keeps boasting about how perfect his life is, while at the same time desperately peeing for drug tests every 15 minutes to “prove” to us that he’s clean.
If indeed, his hard-partying, methed out life is something so wonderful as to be envied by mere motals, why then is he so desperate to show that he’s changed? You can’t have it both ways, Charlie. Loser.
Ok Larry, just because someone hates a person you love does not mean they are jealous. I’m sure there are a number of people you don’t like, are you telling us that you are really just jealous of them?
So if somebody hates someone else, they’re jealous? Was the entire world jealous of Hitler? Or Stalin?
Very twisted logic you have.
He’ll do well, the guy’s breaking new ground and has a lot of courage. Overall he did a good job and in order to continue this show he’s going to have to play his A game, and come out on top. Companies like CBS, NBC and ABC won’t be happy, he’s cutting out the middle guy and the better he does, the less they will like it.
You pathetic enablers make me sick. There are thousands of tremendous role models out there and you stick up for a violent, drugged-up, nutso? It is enough of celebrating people for doing wrong. Whether it is Paris Hilton, Kim Kardasian or Charlie Sheen, it has to stop. China is going to soon lap this country and idiots like you will think we are winning. Insipid. Inane. Ridiculous.
To sick: I don’t think encouraging someone to work through his own show – which means he would have to be on top of his game…ie, be healthy to succeed, is an enabler. No one is saying support his drugs, but working through a show takes alot of focus and time and this kind of show in particular where he’s welcomign feedback and suggestions, he will be listening to people and focused on the positive. I believe he will come out on top. I don’t think you quite understand; there’s a difference between supporting his drug habit, and supporting him focusing on a producing a show and working through his problems, including drug, wild parties, etc. Communication is important, and his lines are open, so it will help him do better in life and face his life challenges, addictions to run a show like this and it also challenges the status quo of only breaking into the market via large corporations, producers, who you know and who you have to bow down to.
Glad you raised the point on China, as long as we sell out to large corporations who are taking the jobs to China, India, Pakistan as it keeps their expenses down, ie salaries, then countries like china will do well. It’s called greed, large companies wnating to make more money and not thinking long term and we are losing our jobs. Sheen brought a lot of money to his colleagues on the show for years, and while he lived a rough life, and may have been pampered to stay with the show, who knows what it is like to work in Hollywood under their rules, lifestyle. Maybe if he works his own show, he will have pride in working his own show and in order for it to succeed he has to focus on the positive, working through his problems. In order for him to see his kids, he’s going to have some tough challenges, but I think he’ll work through this. He’s not quitting or withdrawing and he’ll be on a learning curve. He is a professional and I think he’s actually going to be encouraged to do better when people put him down. He seems like a guy who will want to prove anyone negative wrong, that he will work through his problems, inefficiences and overcome the challenges, reflecting on things and evaluating his life. If he should happen to fail, that too will be a life lesson which he would have to accept and reflect on. Eiter way it’s a win win.
I just really, really wish he’d get on with the fatal OD portion of the program. (Hell, I’d even tune in for that)
We ALL know its coming, so really can’t he just cut to the chase now and get it over with. At least his kids will get the insurance money and spared the embarassment of having this wack-a-doo creep as a father.
I have to go along with Sick, who said, “There are thousands of tremendous role models out there and you stick up for a violent, drugged-up, nutso? It is enough of celebrating people for doing wrong. Whether it is Paris Hilton, Kim Kardasian or Charlie Sheen, it has to stop.” What have we become when we can’t get enough of these people? What ever happened to clean-living heroes??
@ John, CBS is tired of dealing with Charlie, we don’t know the truth; Charlie is telling us his side, you are not hearing too much from CBS. How about we hear from Jon Cryer and Angus, I am sure they have a couple of things to say about Charlie. You can tell by the way he conducts himself in interviews, he is so arrogant and he has so many enablers around him he will never think he does anything wrong. I hope he gets the help he needs for the sake of his kids.
@John wrote: “Sheen brought a lot of money to his colleagues on the show for years”

@John,
Sheen didn’t create or write the show, or hire the other actors. Sheen was a hired hand just like the rest. The other actors worked hard on the show, and John Cryer even won an Emmy (Charlie has not). The writers, producers, directors, crew, and cast, all worked hard on the show and are collectively responsible for the success of the show.
*
@John,
Sheen is not producing his own show. He’s simply rambling online when he feels like it.
*
There is no “win” here for Charlie Sheen until he gets the help he so clearly needs.
@Maggie – I won’t even bother replying, since you summed it up so perfectly.
cant anyone get charlie the help he needs. anyone who has had problems with cocaine recognizes exactly where charlie is
Sic transit gloria mundi…
LET’S FOCUS PEOPLE…Charlie Sheen, 47, is all over the news because he’s a celebrity drug addict. While Nicholas Alden, 25, Zachary Cuddeback, 21, Andrew Wilfahrt, 31, Brian Tabada, 21, Rudolph Hizon, 22, Chauncy Mays, 25 are all service members who gave their lives this week with little or no media mention. Honor THEM by re-posting this status.
Thank you for posting their names. Perspective is needed. Those men are true heroes.
Thank you Sheila, for the big cup of “wake-the-f-up”. Great comment.
Nice comment!!
Heroes indeed….Let’s celebrate their lives…
i am praying for you charlie!!!! your the best!!!!!
the best at what, exactly??
The best at being a embarassing, selfish, self-indulgent, woman-beating ass. At that, yes, he’s absolutely a winner.
Marla, Yes.
Is this really Mel Gibson pretending to be andrea??
after watching for 53 minutes …. i felt hungover about 5 minutes later. He was exhausting to watch/follow. Entertainment has hit a new low
You lasted 53 minutes? I lasted 3.
So you really didn’t see the show and you are making a negative comment. A show like this isn’t easy to do and he’s just getting started. Sheen is a professional, and will do well. I imagine he’ll have some friends wanting him to do well, who will help him out and maybe appear on one of his shows. Looking forward to the next shows.
I lasted about 3 minutes as well……he sounds like my ex-husband.
How is a statement of fact, “I only lasted three minutes” negative? It’s like when your girlfriend says, “John only lasted 20 seconds”. Statement of fact, not passing of judgement. And if you feel that it is those are just your isecurities and inadequacies bubbling to the surface.
@John…dude…he got on a webcam and rambled for 50 minutes…it’s not got ANY production value, lol. You can see the same thing on chatroulette! lol
It was awful… I feel sorry for him, he really needs help. I also don’t get calling girls half his age “goddesses” they are merely children milking you for everything they can get out of this runaway train.
I don’t get the goddess thing. Is it because they are in their early 20s? They aren’t unattractive per se but they aren’t hot. I was a lot cuter at that age. I’m sure most of us were. That said, I hope the girls get their money’s worth. It would be hard dealing with him day in and day out.
“Children” LOL, they are adults. It looks like all of the jealous old ugly hags are now posting on this forum.
Wow, that was really mean.
Considering that Charlie Sheen has a daughter that’s at least 5 years OLDER than either “goddess” they ARE “children” in relation to Charlie.
He is their meal ticket. As long as those losers keep egging him on, he won’t get help. Charlie thinks he is on a crusade against the world. If he was such a good guy, why don’t his co-stars stick up for him? That is very revealing. Notice what is hanging out with him now.
They’re afraid to stick up for him – or try to support, encourage or even make suggestions, or moral support. They want a paycheck and so if they cross over and speak up – they will lose. If they want to stick around in Hollywood, they will keep their mouths quiet as they would be seen going against the grain. They are focussed more on money than speaking up, but again, it is their source of income and they would probably follow the crowd. Even if they thought he needed help, they are silent – dont’ want to be seen rocking the boat….maybe they are hoping the show will continue on with out him, so they can collect their salaries. Maybe they feel sorry for him, maybe they empathize, maybe they are jealous, maybe they dont’ like him, but one thing, he’s kept them employed for all these years and rolling in the money. Where are they now? If they thought he was having problems, why not try and reach out and help him – or do they care too much about their selves.
Enough “John”!! You are either Charlie or one of his groupies. You have been all over this site singing his praises and repeating yourself again and again. The public does not want to hear you glorifying this crackhead. STFU.
Exactly.
With friends like that, who needs enemies ? Leeches.
To Chilly Dogs, I regret that you don’t want me to post anything positive on Charlie Sheen’s show. I am not abusing you or anyone else on this forum in any way, but your post is abusive. And I’m not going to reward your abuse by complying to your command.
LOL, “John” can’t be Charlie, too coherent! (although still wrong)
If John Cryer left the show I would stop watching. He is ten times the comedic ac to r Charlie is. He has the physical gift of John Ritter and the plastic expessive face of Jim Carrey. The next facial express Charlie makes on the show will be his first. His character is dull and two-dimensional and the only laughs he get are because of the witty writing. Cryer, on the other hand, can make flossing your teethfunny.
@John,
It’s not “the Charlie Sheen Show”. It’s an ensemble cast who all contribute to the success of the show. Charlie is a hired hand just like the rest of them.
@ John: It’s amazing that you know Charlie’s co-stars and they’ve told you what they are thinking! Or you are a great psychic who read their minds! Not.
Charlie’s colleagues aren’t reaching out because they have learned, as his father finally has learned, that you can’t help someone who doesn’t think they need help, and that Charlie will do exactly what Charlie wants to do.
C,
I agree with Jasmine. Spot on Chris N. He is gonna fall and fall hard. I just hope he will have people still with him to help him pick up the pieces. Praying for you Charlie.
I got a sense he was working things out in this show and facing his challenges, problems. Takes courage to do what he did, face his critics, and without the big money that cbs, nbc, cnn have in putting this show together. It was natural, fun, and in good humour. If he continues on with this show and I think he will, it will require, work, focus, and he’ll raise the issues that some may not want to hear…and maybe some of the large corporations like cbs, nbc, abc, cnn may not like as he’s running this show on a dime. With a bit of fine tuning and more practice and bringing some people onto the show to interview whether it’s the guy on the street or a tv or radio personality, to an athlete, etc, he’s going to draw viewers, and he will be a success. This guy is driven to do well by those who critize him, so he’ll prove his critics wrong and work out his problems and overcome any drug dependency. Go Charlie!
You have to be kidding or high. It was a disaster. Not funny not entertaining and it will go nowhere. Being a radio / tv personality & being able to interview people takes skill, research & preparation. The ones that are good at it make it look easy. Charlie Sheen is an actor who reads lines & hits his mark. It looks like he is in the manic stage of bipolar disorder & soon he will be in a mental hospital or back on drugs.
To Jessica: WORD
John,
Did you take a hit of ‘Charlie Sheen’ 100mg???
Cmon dude, hes a frickin crackpot. Do we really have to recite the rantings that’s been flowing from this crack and JD embalmed lips of his for you?
Sheesh.
Besides, you’re not his family, doesn’t that mean he hates you – violently – and will send his f18 fighter in and deploy his ground crew that I think consists of ‘rockstars from mars’ chanting ‘winner winner winner’ incessantly… Oh man.
Oh man.
2 and a half brain cells left….
But, Charlie doesn’t like to practice!
He is falling hard and sloppy.
His career is over.
Right, because we all remember how high profile and successful his career was before “Men”. HE WAS AN 80s AFTERTHOUGHT! Seriously, did he do ANYTHING in the 90s or did Hollywood kick that grease fire to thecurb. Enjoy the Doppler effect on his ramblungs as he fades into obscurity.
I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen. I love Charlie Sheen.
OMG. This has to be him or one of his grrrlfriends. Sad.
@David E – “Enjoy the Doppler effect on his ramblings as he fades into obscurity” — I loved the way you put that!
Oh quit envying Charlie Sheen, you troll! It was a freestyle live show that he performed, and he did an excellent job mocking at you stupid asses! I don’t think it’s smart him having a porn star living with him, but that don’t give you the right to throw stones at him, when you’re a sinner yourself, HYPOCRITE!
Whaaat?
Charlie committed the ultimate sin and it wasn’t fornication or abusing his body with drugs or beating up women… it was being BORING.
You nailed it. Good news = Sheen acted sane and sober. Bad news = Sheen is boring when he acts sane and sober.
Hey, he’s doing more than what you are. Took courage to put this together, without money, all the props, camera work, that cbs, cnn, nbc have behind them and with some of the bad publicity he’s getting. I didn’t think it was boring at all. It needs some fine tuning and it would be great to see him bring in some stars like Paris Hilton, or interview Nancy Grace. I think he’ll do well and those jealous of him will want it to fail.
Why is it when people have a low opinion of some drug-addled, self-aggrandizing celebrity, others have to chime in and say the critics are jealous? Can’t a person think another is a douchebag without an ulterior motive? I could give a damn about his fame and money. He’s an annoying a-hole who wouldn’t be where he is without his father’s name. Yes, he showed real potential back in the day, but back in the day was a long time ago. Yes, he makes lots of money doing a show where he basically plays a sanitized version of himself, but’s it’s repetitive and unfunny. Also, he’s 45 and uses “bro” and “dude” more than a man that age should. His money would be nice, and yes, he seems to have a way with money-grubbing skanks, but other than that, what’s there to idolize? Seriously.
To John: It “took courage to put this together”? Uh no. All it took was an arrogant belief that his success til now has been based solely on his magical brain. He threw something together with no preparation and assumed it would be AWESOME because he has no respect for the process and people around him who have contributed to his “effortless” transformation of tin cans into pure gold.
@ Lindsay – very very well put. Loved your “tin cans into pure gold” reference. You are right, Charlie has absolutely no respect for the process. I can’t understand why John feels the need to defend the undefendable.
Just cringeworthy. Take a break Charlie.
The only amusing thing about the ustream was watching the viewers numbers quickly dip as it went on. Otherwise it was like watching high 15 year olds talk nonsense and spout catchphrases. Couldn’t stick with it longer an 5 minuets before I joined the large numbers bailing.
Sorry Spokie, the numbers and hits are climbing.
Um.. John/Charlie/grrlfriend – the show’s over. It can’t be climbing.
And, for the record, the numbers watching the ustream DID plummet before it ended. Fact. #planbetter
It was funny in a real way. I hate celebs being so fake all the time. At least he’s showing us who he really is. It’s his life he’s playing around with. Why does everyone else care. Oh, people have to look down on others to make themselves feel better.
Amber you are so spot on. Agree. Can we link this website to Sheen’s Twitter page and get some great ideas and suggestions for the upcoming shows. We’ll all Win!
I don’t think people would care at all if he wasn’t broadcasting his business and talking junk about the “little people.”
John, you’re a psycho — commenting on every single thought on this thread, pro Charlie pro Charlie pro Charlie. Are you his new rep?
This man is a mess, and it’s NOT funny, and no I’m not an old hag (I’m 27).
To Sarah J. No one accused you of being an old hag. Your age is not important to me, is it to you? I am not his rep, don’t know the guy. Is the guy a mess, yes he’s got issues to work through, look at Britney Spears a couple of years ago. Not sure you understand the positive of him having his own show and the impact on himself and others. If he works a show weekly, and it’s his own, it takes an incredible amoutn of focus and work and for it to succeed he’d have to work to be sober. I wasn’t laughing at the situation Sarah J. Who cares if I comment a lot on the subject. Does it make me a bad person to emphasise that it’s a good thing and positive to work through troubles, problems, rather than run from them or avoid them. It’s better to meet them head on, ask for feedback, be open to feedback you get better. This will be a great learning experience for him and for others in hollywood, or other famous people such as athletes, who get off on the wrong track, it may help them understand how to get back on track. Sign onto his twitter page and offer him feedback.
I’m not focussing on Charlie Sheen so much as encouraging learning from a negative and turning it into a positive.
Hey Chris…Who cares if it was amateur and stupid….were you dumb enough to think James Cameron was onboard to direct???…..give him a break…
Yes. To use another frequently stated Sheenism (at least on his webcast), he needed “better planning.” It’s too bad he rushed it and allowed the others on camera; what really could’ve been an interest experiment turned out to be a boring snoozefest that may turn out to be a nail in a coffin… I hope not, but as he himself would say, “hope is for losers.” Oh well!
It’s actually “plan better”. If you’re going to put quotes around it, you should probably get it right. The others should be ditched though. Maybe keep the goddesses. Maybe.
Sounds like you want him to fail. Not to worry, he won’t. This show will gather momentum and fans. I didn’t hear about it until after the show was over and so tuned in late, but the format is good, needs some additonal supporting cast, bring on people like Nancy Grace to interview, stars like Paris Hilton, Sean Penn, this will rock. Sorry, I think this show is going to be GREAT. He’s savvy, knows what he is doing and will work this thing without all the big name producers. Go Charlie!
No John, I DON’T want him to fail, and I don’t think anyone does. Quite the opposite; we *fear* his failure. Everyone I know wants him to succeed – professionally and personally, career-wise and life-wise. But all we see at the end of the road that he’s currently on is a trashed life and quite possibly a premature death. It’s genuinely scary.
To Steve HC. I hear you, and yes, his life took a slide, and he has drug issues, but the interesting thing is, if he’s putting together his own show, that takes a lot of work, committment and positive thinking. He can’t just throw it out there, so that in itself will require a lot of hard work, not just with the show, but within himself. You say no one wants him to fail, I disagree. I’ve been in business for years, and the thing with people are most are negative focussed and jealous, have a lot of insecurities and don’t always want their colleagues to succeed, and I would think Sheen has ticked off a few in his business who may not want him to succeed. Sure, there are some people who want Sheen to succeed and who genuinely care, but tearing him down and preaching isn’t the way to do it, get him to focus on the positive, do something meaningful, and by doing this show, he’s exposing the big corporations and taking out the middle man to get his productions out there, he’s breaking new ground and it takes a lot of courage, hard work and commitment. He can’t be used by large corporations this way, sure there are always hangers on, friends, people who will wnat money or fame from him and tell him what he wants to hear so they can be a part of the gravy train, but he’s a pretty smart guy and I believe he’ll figure this out and work through his challenges and come out on top. He’s certainly no reclcuse and I believe he will avoid the drugs and work toward a meaningful goal; of being himself, doing what he believes in and being a good role model for his kids in the end. He’s had his struggles and challenges and has been given lots of money while filiming 2 and 1/2 men, but at what cost. In order to continue to do well in this show, he’ll have to work at this like anyone works at any job, and with a purpose, to come out on top, be positive and win. Go Charlie.
“stars” like paris hilton”? What exactly is she a star of?
Since Nancy Grace was the only show that Charlie refused to do, I doubt that she would be on his “show.” Nancy would have asked Charlie tough questions and not have taken his bullcrap. She would have told him exactly what she thought of his behavior. And Charlie can’t handle anyone who doesn’t think he’s a god.
Oh please, what commitment? what cave are you living in? Any idjit can stream a video.
But now we’ve SEEN Charlie without the benefit of the “talentless, crap” writers from two and half men. And we now know that Charlie unscripted is BORING. No wonder he does drugs.
And clearly there is no plan, he truly believes his fans are happy to watch him drool. The show will not gather anything other than declining attendance by viewers. Heck, it dropped off SHARPLY just 20 minutes into the show. (I guess even losers who live in their parents basement that make up his fanbase will move on when bored.) Now maybe if he starts shooting, snorting and smoking on camera people will turn up for that. maybe when he gets wacked and starts beating up one of the goddesses, people will turn in for that. But otherwise, he’s got nothing.
I do think he needs to ditch the lame posse on the “korner” the dude in the back was obnoxious.
That was Simon Rex… who, sadly for him, came out the biggest loser out of the whole stupid thing.
The 90s MTV gay pornstar? ICK! He definitely needs “better planning”
Charlie, Your brain is fried.
painful to watch for the first few minutes before i shut it off
Did anybody see when charlie did a LINE. He went under his desk when they showed one of the photos.
