Anne Hathaway's Oscar dresses: We have the EXCLUSIVE details!

To close the big night, Hathaway wore Tiffany jewels with a lace and crystal dress and sandals by a man who knows a thing or two about fashion and film — designer Tom Ford, who recently launched his eponymous womenswear line and also directed last year’s Oscar-nommed hit, A Single Man. Does Hathaway pull off this lacey look?

And now that her parade of dresses has come to an end, what do you guys think of her choices? For a refresher, browse below for the six other looks from the night, and be sure to cast your vote in our upcoming gallery on your favorite Hathaway gown of the night.

Anne’s Past Looks

Hathaway looked positively regal in this sapphire Giorgio Armani Privé custom satin dress with Armani Privé platform heels. To keep with the glam look, she wore Tanzanite and diamond earrings, a black onyx and diamond bracelet, and a diamond and blue sapphire ring, all by Tiffany. It’s a different look for the actress, so what say you, PopWatchers?

After walking the red carpet in the favorite hue of the night, Hathaway took to the stage in slightly different version of red — a burgundy silk chiffon gown by Atelier Versace, with Tiffany jewels and Casadei pumps. How did Hathaway fare?

Hello, 70s glam! Hathaway kept things swingy in a silver beaded tassel dress by Oscar de la Renta, and complemented the glittery look in Tiffany jewels and gold Jimmy Choo peep-toes. It was a nice change of pace from the last voluminous look, but what do you guys think? Does this work?

Not only is Hathaway co-host, but she’s also practically fashion royalty in Hollywood so it’s no surprise that designers flocked to create custom looks for the starlet.

In her third ensemble, she wore a Vivienne Westwood corseted Couture gown with embroidered lace and sequins that was specifically made for Hathaway in London. She sparkled in a diamond and amethyst necklace from the Tiffany Archives, as well as a Tiffany yellow sapphire and diamond ring. To top it off, she walked the stage in Jimmy Choo platforms. Do you guys like this ball gown look?

For her second number, Hathaway stepped out in a more menswear-inspired look — a custom tux by Lanvin. But she kept her accessories definitively feminine with Tiffany jewels and custom Brian Atwood heels decked out in Swarovski crystals. Do you guys think her more masculine get-up works?

Anne-Hathaway-Oscar-dress1After a movie-spoofing opening, Hathaway, who was styled by Rachel Zoe and associate stylist for the event, Jill Lincoln, entered as co-emcee in a vanilla-colored bustier Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci gown, and accessorized with a Tiffany diamond ring and earrings, a diamond bracelet from the Tiffany Archives and Brian Atwood peep-toes. It screamed old Hollywood glam, which seems fitting for the film industry’s biggest night. What do you guys think?

GORGEOUS dress. Wasn’t too impressed with her red carpet dress, but her opening one makes up for it.

I knew it was Givenchy. As always, Tisci rules

I absolutely agree, beautiful dress at the opening!

I would love a television series where nothing happens except Anne tries on different clothes. I would watch that forever.

In fact, the could have ditched everything but Anne modeling different coture outfits and I would have been happy!

        I agree…I LOVE Anne.

This is absolutely stunning. Wish it was around when I was getting married. Is a gorgeous wedding gown!

Looks like we have a ton of Anne Hatheway minions working the threads tonight… I’m sorry but she looked so awkward in most of these looks. They were odd on her body.

      • Fiona

Really, I think your eyes are seeing odd things. She was fab-u-lous in each and every look and each was tailored to her fantastic body. You need to make an appointment with your eye doctor.

Beautiful dress although it does flatten her chest somewhat. The colours are gorgeous – the warm vanilla and various metallic colours are a great mix!

  • jodipo

    best dress at the awards!

    • jodipo

note* this was for the off white dress

  • jmcg

I think she is in need of a bra that enhances the girls cuz that dress, although its pretty, it does nothing for them.

I think the dress is very beautiful. Like Anne Hathaway, herself,it’s a very classy dress for a classy lady.If all people can do is criticize her for her lack of boobs wearing the dress,my only comment is she’s so far out of their league, and their are places to go to criticize boobs===like a topless bar.

      • jmcg

I criticized her “lack of boobs”, because that dress makes her hips look wide and if she had a larger bust, she would look more in proportion. I agree, the dress is very beautiful, but Hathaway has room for improvement in it.

  • Nubie

I love this dress on her, she definitely looks like old hollywood and she carrys it off very well.

I am getting married in July and would LOVE to wear this dress but could never afford it! I wonder if I even could get my hands on it. I would be the happiest bride EVER if I could wear this dress! Riccardo are you listening! HELP!

    • Andrea

I don’t think it would be that difficult to have a similar one made. It looks like it’s basically a corset over a gathered white dress.

  • Lori

pretty dress, why did she hold it up so weird when she walked out. it didn’t let the dress move the way it could/should have.

  • Stephanie Todd

I am getting married in July and LOVE this dress! I wish I could afford it! Riccardo, love the dress help a hopeful bride!!!!

  • Joye

    Freaking stunning

  • Joe

This dress is nothing short of gorgeous. Where did she get it from?

  • Sunnie

    This gown is Beautiful!!

  • anna

Similar to the one Cate Blanchett wore this night. Same designer too, I believe. I liked the one Cate wore better, though.

  • judy leach

    beautiful dresses

    • ann

She looked stunning in all the gowns, but the cream one is absolutely beautiful. The above picture doesn’t do it justice.
