Thankfully this show has already failed. Comic books have no business on Broadway. Next, we would be subjected to Batman dancing and singing about how he misses his parents…yuck, ptooyee! This will stop any other producers from trying this…what does Bono know about superhero comics or Broadway, anyway?

Dummy you should check your facts

A.)It was the top selling Broadway show of January
B.)You talk about “next we would be subjected to a a dancing and singing Batman”
Hello stupid!! they don’t have a singing or dancing Spiderman in this show…GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT

I don’t know about you, but I would love to see a singing or dancing Batman! Great idea!

I go to Broadway to see great acting, spectacle is secondary. This show belongs at an amusement theme park.

Can’t wait for Wolverine the musical…

I just saw it…it should be more appropriately titled “Spiderman: Turn off the SUCK”!!! It was horrible!

I like the old days when 65 million guaranteed a hit–not just an ambulance. Of course, come March, if they do pull it off, it’ll seem like just that much more of a success. People frought over WICKED and it defied the odds. Broadway loves adversity.

Giving Julie Taymor free reign in Spiderman was the first mistake. This will be her Ishtar or Heaven’s Gate.
