Who do you love the most — is it one of the lucky “save the best for last” contestants like Travis Orlando, Paris Tassin, Chris Medina, or Lauren Alaina, each of whom enjoyed lengthy sob-story packages at the end of their episodes? Or are you rooting for more of a hidden gem — someone like Paul McDonald, whose few seconds of footage were intercut with two other singers’ so that we could barely get a sense of him? I need to SENSE Paul McDonald, you guys. Vote in our poll — or leave your own suggestions in the comments — after the break.

Molly DeWolf Swenson (the White House intern/Harvard graduate). She was awesome. Her only weakness appears to be that she doesn’t “need this” as much as others.
Also like the impossibly deep-voiced Scotty McCreery and Naima Adedapo. (Yeah, last night was a REALLY good episode talentwise, I think.)
loving the country singersw this year – and I don’t like country music. Scotty McCreery and the adopted girl (sorry, forgot her name) are both amazing. rooting for them this year!

Molly had my favorite voice too…other favorites were Devyn the singing waitress, the ex couple (both of them) and Naima for her energy. I do love Lauren Alaina of course as well. And Jerome Bell I think his name was? He was very smooth.

So far my favorites are probably the redheaded guy from last week and the ex-boyfriend from last night. And I’m with you Annie on Paul McDonald. Wish we had seen more of him.

I agree with the first poster who said Molly is the favorite (she’s mine) but she doesn’t know what she wants…its not really her dream to be a singer, so they may let her go for that reason alone when it gets down to it.
I have to agree..the ex’s last night were by far the best!

What about the girl from Kosovo? Melina I think her name was, I loved her, she is my favorite girl so far this season and Chris Medina is my favorite guy, I think one of those two will win!

Of the four listed I liked Lauren the best, despite the judges’ pimping. Chris was good also, but my fave so far is Robbie Rosen, the kid from the first episode who sang “Yesterday”
I liked Lauren’s voice, but not the fact that she’s only 15. Wait a few years, kid. Was Steven Tyler put out when she made him perform with her? I guess we’ll excuse her because she’s only 15, but from someone else, it would have been terribly presumptuous.
The guy who sang with his ex. I think his name was Rob Bolin.

I haven’t seen Nashville yet. But of the ones I’ve seen, my favorites are Robbie Rosen, Steve Beghun, and Scott Dangerfield.
Lauren’s audition was very reminiscent of Kelly Clarkson’s down to her playing around with the judges. Powerful talent. But I don’t know that I’ve found my season fave yet, though there are some very talented kids so far.
I thought the same thing. Lauren’s got a great, distinctive tone to her voice; is sweet and not a threat to tween girls voting; and, has Tons of personality. My first thought was, She’s the Next Kelly Clarkson! But also agree, I’m going to wait until we see All the competitors before deciding who’s my fav.
Not a country music fan but really liked Scotty McCreery. He could be the Country Justin Beiber… but this kid can Really sing!
Also fan of Scott Dangerfield, Paul McDonald, Jackie Wilson, the red-headed kid Brett, the chubby 15-yr old Jaycee, and the girl from Kosovo, Melinda.
Oh good lord, the girl is NOT Kelly Clarkson, and Nigel trying to brainwash you into thinking she is does not make it so. Some people sure are gullible.

I think Idol would be a better place for including him in the finals.
