Jeff Kober had 2 parts on “Buffy” His much more memorable role on Buffy was as Rack, Willow’s dark magic connection, in Season Six.

    • Valley Girl

I loved him as Daedalus on “Kindred: The Embraced” more… He was my fave character on that show.

It was absolutely delicious to see and hear Stahl begging for her life. I woulda’ been screaming “DIE B!#@H!” at the TV if my kids hadn’t been in the next room.

    • melissa

i WAS screaming DIE B!#@H! at my tv. it felt so good to finally see Stahl without her cocky little smile and put in her place

    • SOA = Best show on TV

After last season when they left the world wanting when they let Zoebell get away when they had him dead to rights this years finale totally made up for that. And I have a feeling next season we will get to see Zoebell finally get it the way we finally got to see Stahl and Jimmy get it. Such good writing.

Luckily, my kids ARE out of the house (college, etc.), so I screamed something close to that.

SOA never fails to entertain or amaze with the storylines given to us by Kurt Sutter. All the actors are awesome. Can’t wait for season 4.

I think we must start up a petition to get a regular recap going on this show when Seasom 4 returns! This is one of THE best shows on TV and deserves to be recognized. If you guys don’t do it then the Academy won’t pay attention and no one will get Emmy or Globe NOMS. Come on people

    • Anne

Agree!!!!! This show is too good and too fun to talk about to not have a regular recap. There is always so much in each episode, and its one of the best rated cable shows, so there’s definitely an audience. Plus, performances like those of Charlie, Katey, Ron, Ryan, etc. should be celebrated on a weekly basis. Please recap it EW!!!

    • A. Rae

I agree 100%. With all the recaps EW does (of good shows and bad), and all the love they were sending SAMCRO’s way before Season 3 started, I was awfully surprised that they didn’t recap this show.

    • Olive

Definitely deserves an Emmy. The writing is just awesome.

I looooooved last nites episode ! i agree as well about being alil sad w/June having to die – as CRAZY/EVIL as she was and even w/ all the havoc she caused i REALLY REALLY enjoyed watching her! She was a BAD ASS CHICK , when she shot her lover/partner i stood straight up from the couch and couldnt close my mouth for awhile (lol) I likeD that Oppie got to pull the trigger – 4 DONNA ! Super happy SAMCRO knew about the plan and Jax isnt a RAT! GREAT TWIST !! Im happy and content till next season :)

What the heck EW? I can’t remember the last recap of this show, and I’ve been looking for it–now you wait to recap the season finale-Ugh?!

Stahl was a cold-hearted, soulless beotch; I’m gonna miss her plotting against Samcro, but it was time for her comeuppance. I did not see that whole reveal in the letters coming–can’t wait to see what next season has in store for Gemma.

  • Hobodeluxe

knowing they were all in on it makes that party scene at the beginning of the episode much more poignant.
I thought it much more foreboding at first and now it seems more bittersweet.

Brilliant. Best SONs episode yet. Though I do have one question maybe someone can help me with: at the end when Tara was reading Johns letter he mentioned another son, before he went on to say how Jax was already so much like himself. Who was he referring to or is it another character we will be introduced to next season. Cant wait till next year!

    • Stephanie

His name was Thomas. He was older than Jax and he died from a heart problem when he was a kid.

      • Stephanie

meant younger…sorry..Jax was the older one.

    • Anne

Jax had a younger brother, Thomas, who died from the same heart defect that runs through Gemma’s line of the family. It seems that John Teller was in Ireland with Maureen during much of the time that Thomas was sick.

I loved this episode — I don’t think it was the BEST ever (I can think of several in season 2 that trump it, and I loved episodes earlier in the season with Nate, the caretaker etc.) but I thought it was fantastic — some great character moments, lots of twists, a total adrenaline rush. Great episode for one of the best shows on TV. It both fun and smart.

For fun, which Season 2 episodes do you feel were better? Last night was in my opinion one of the greatest finales ever as well as the greatest SOA episode to date. Although it’s all I can remember at the moment. Purhaps you are correct last season was great leading into the finale.

      • Olive

@RAMCO: Season 3 finale was the best SOA episode ever and I agree one of the best season finales written period.

  • anon

Loved Ally Walker who played Stahl since she did Profiler. It was great to see her on tv again, gonna miss her now she’s dead.

So go to another site with a recap. It isn’t that complicated. If you don’t know of the many popular ones use a search engine.

    • Anne

Easy enough, but a lot of us like EW’s voice and style and want to read one here from critics/bloggers we know and like.

    • A. Rae

I actually use the Sons IMDB site for that reason, but it would be nice if they did a good, detailed recap here too.

  • hammey

I loved the show’s finale. I especially liked the scene when the guys drove up in the school bus. Please give Tommy Flanigan more speaking parts next season. I love him!

  • Don

Would someone please wake up the folks at the Emmy’s and show them Katy Segal’s work on this show? Hello? Hello?

    • Olive

      I second that

Makes me sorry I gave up on the show after this season’s episode 3. Got just a little too far-fetched…California motorcycle gang goes to Ireland? Nope. Also, had WAY too much unneccessary interpersonal story lines, like Gemma reuniting with her father. The first three episodes of this season were boring, unimaginative, and had almost nothing to do with a renegade motorcycle gang, so I gave up. Glad to hear the finale was back up to par, although these cliffhangers before another 10-month hiatus are getting tedious. In fact, the practice by FX of making fans wait nearly a year for the next season has become intolerable. (Yeah, I’m talking about former show The Shield, Rescue Me, and others I’ve now forgotten because it’s just too long a stretch between seasons.) FX has taught me not to get emotionally involved with one of their shows, because it’s going to end way too quick (only 13 episodes? Really?) and there’s just too long of a lag between seasons. Like most TV watchers in America, I have a short attention span, and no patience.

  • tselliott

Much better than last seasons finale. Last year was the worst ending of any show you could imagine!!!

  • jimim02

    WOW, Terrific final, never better!!
