After the successful Internet campaign to get Betty White to host SNL, several other celebrities turned to the masses for their support. And now, even Cookie Monster is getting in on the action. And it is wonderful.
The “Macarooner” bit is dead on, and I laughed way too hard at “me cookie face” from Cookie Gaga.
Given the Muppets’ long history with SNL, I do kind of wish these series would overlap a little more. Don’t you, PopWatchers?

Lorne Michaels fired Henson and his Muppets from SNL after the first season or two. And the Muppets, especially Sesame St. are superior to SNL now, so they shouldn’t get mixed up with the horrible show now. Let the SNL cast come on Sesame Street.
