'The Office' webisodes of 'The 3rd Floor': EW Exclusive!

Office-halloween-webisodeImage Credit: NBCFrom the mind of ex-intern Ryan Howard, it’s Scranton’s very own Paranormal Activity/Drag Me to Hell slasher horror movie, “The 3rd Floor” — and EW has it for you exclusively. When Ryan (B.J. Novak) decides his next great endeavor is a scary slasher movie, Kelly Kapoor (Mindy Kaling), Erin (Ellie Kemper), Kevin (Brian Baumgartner), Meredith (Kate Flannery), Creed (Creed Bratton), and Gabe (Zach Woods) all pitch in. Behold, all the horror — and hilarity — in its three-part glory:

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Yay for more Kelly and Erin! (And special yay for more Gabe. We still barely know Gabe! Hi, Gabe.)

You can see more of Ryan’s majestic self-aggrandizing — including his not-to-be-missed “About the Auteur” page — on The 3rd Floor’s own site. (Like The Office‘s other excellent webisode series, “Subtle Sexuality,” “The 3rd Floor” was actually directed by Mindy Kaling — shh, don’t tell Ryan.)

“I want to express myself, but I have nothing to say, and no medium with which to do it” is easily a top-10 Kelly Kapoor line. Are you screaming over these webisodes, PopWatchers?

    This gives me Glee.

  • Gleek

Are they doing a Glee crossover?

    • Sheldon

I didn’t come to this site to read about this crap! give me my Glee!

      • Jane

Dear Sheldon – Glee is so lame. The Office is where it’s at, and these webisodes are way cooler and more inventive and funnier than anything Glee does.

      • Gleek

        Jane doesn’t get it.

  • Chris

I have to say the legs of the serial killers that got away are quite nice.

  • Mr. Holloway

Another top 10 Kelly Kapoor line: “(Beep) me” – upon learning that Danny Cordray (Timothy Olyphant) was going to be joining Dunder Mifflin.

    • Scott

Yes, what Mr Holloway said. I rewound that a few times.

    • Stef

oh totally agree. but this was super awesome too, i LOVE office webisodes!!

“The Following Preview Has Been Approved By The Motion Picture Association Of Evil And Is Suitable For Sadistic Audiences ONLY. Watch At Your Own Risk.”

Hahaha… there are a lot of movies around that should carry that warning. I love Office Webisodes.

  • Brigette

My favorite part is when Kelly throws random objects in front of Erin, like a coat rack or swivel chair would stop her. Apparently the jelly beans did. Amazing!

  • Dean

    Loved Meredith’s ‘Count’ laugh!

    • Dean

It made me feel much GLEE.

This was so great!! May have even surpassed Blackmail as my favorite Office Webisode!

  • Jonathan

“Umm, this is America. So get a job or something.”

  • MC

The Office has lost what its original feel. I mean, do these people even work anymore? Remember the first webisodes- The Accountants. Funny and yet also relevant to working in an office. I wouldn’t mind the deviation from the workplace, but at least make it funny.

I loved how Erin’s killer had one arm from Lizzie Borden (holding the bloody knife) and one arm from Jeffrey Daumer (holding a fork). Brilliant!

  • johnnykagewins

I loved Ryan Howard in Happy Days

  • BrandonK

Am I the only one with a little crush on Zach Woods? Apart from that, I love Gabe…such a great character!
