Image Credit: Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic.comLooks like porn icon/actress/author Jenna Jameson might have to learn how to make love like a Broadway star: A rep for Rock of Ages confirmed that Jameson is in talks to appear on the Great White Way as strip club owner Justice in the popular show.
Though Jameson is not necessarily typical Broadway material, this piece of possible stunt casting isn’t completely unimaginable: It makes sense that a show that borrows from the likes of Poison would court someone who would fit in amongst the cast of Rock of Love. Heck, it’s not like Jameson is in negotiations for, say, Mary Poppins or Annie. And being a champion of Jameson’s — I’ve been fascinated by the astute, business-minded porn star ever since tuning into her E! True Hollywood Story — I’m hoping a trip to Broadway could give her the opportunity to jump into mainstream entertainment, the way 1997′s Private Parts didn’t. (Hey, if Sasha Grey can swing it, why can’t the most powerful woman in the adult entertainment industry?)
Then again, I’m not sure that someone as famous as Jameson could ever realistically make the leap from porn to top-notch MPAA-approved projects (nor am I even sure she would even want to see herself on billboards next to the Clooneys and Witherspoons of the industry) — which is why a semi-high-profile gig on Broadway is perfect for Jameson. Especially since, you know, her character owns a strip club.
Are you ready to buy your tickets, PopWatchers, if just out of curiosity?
I would check it out.
Has she gained back some weight? She looked like the Crypt Keeper there for awhile what with some really bad plastic surgery and extreme weight loss. I hope that she looks more “girly” and less anorexic. Women should have curves, and Jenna had nice curves before wasting away. I hope she kept the implants out too, natural is better.

It makes me sick that there are out of work actors being passed over for this trash. Granted, Rock of Ages is hardly great theatre, but still.

I’m fascinated by Jenna Jameson too, because she really has taken what could be a thankless, sad career and turned herself into a really powerful leader of her industry. I love that. If I lived in New York, I think her inclusion would actually sway me to see this.

Gotta agree. She’s goit more presence and her acting on her many vids is far more convincing and watchable compared to the dead fish celebutards’ (Kim Kartrash, P Hilton, et al) “performances” sexually and mainstream
But can she sing? Justice has a pretty powerful voice in the soundtrack and the two times I have seen ROA.
Supposedly, she was in the midst of recording an album earlier this year, and claims to have a song-and-dance background from high school. I would question that Jenna is “the most powerful woman in the porn industry” because she’s been OUT of the porn industry for a few years now. She may have been the most successful when she was in the business, she may have had the most crossover appeal to date of any performer from the business, but apart from the thankless “Zombie Strippers” movie, what exactly has she done, lately?
