The trailer for The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest — the final Swedish film installment in the Millennium Trilogy — is here, and it’s appropriately tense and action-y. “Everything will be revealed” it promises. Oooh, do tell:
The trailer seems to focus on the go-go-shooting aspects of the book, which are definitely more cinematic than the court room scenes, but that’s where the real juice of the story comes from.
Are you excited for this version of Hornets’ Nest, PopWatchers? Is it enough to hold you over til the American versions start rolling out?

I am such a huge fan of the books, that I cannot wait for the movie adaptation. The journey for many readers will be tough, I’m sure. Most readers will have built their own prior perceptions of how the book should play out in a movie. This was and still is a problem with Stephen King novels.
Had been waiting for the conclusion of this trilogy for a couple of years in print and now film here in the u.s. I do not have much interest in remake of something so incredible as it is. Might see it on dvd from the library, but already own the first dvd of the foreign film and intend to purchase the other two, after first seeing all in the theater. I don’t believe that anyone else will pull off Lisbeth, frankly.
I’ve seen the first two films in Swedish already and they have bother been amazing. I hope the American adaptations live up to them…kinda doubt it though.
She’s fierce!
Fabulous.
Already saw it and it’s really good.
I approach the remake of anything I love with extreme caution. Loved this trailer but will have to actually see the trailer of the Hollywood version before I render a final judgement.
Please stop promoting crappy Swedish movies.
If you use torrent sites, you can already see this. Ending was a tad anti-climactic, I thought.
That looks incredible! I have a hard time believing that the American version will be as good as the Swedish ones.
Best three books I have ever read. I think the Swedes will get the story right in the third movie, but Hollywood being Hollywood, they will make some changes – something the story line does’t need.
