Image Credit: Trae Patton/NBC; Justin Lubin/NBCThere are only four acts left in the running for the $1 million prize — and opportunity to headline their own show on the Las Vegas strip — on America’s Got Talent, but lucky (?) for us, all ten of this season’s finalists will be hitting the road for a nationwide tour come fall. Today, AEG Live (which is also producing this year’s So You Think You Can Dance live show) announced the 25-city America’s Got Talent Live, which will kick off on Oct. 1 in Oakland, Calif. Former AGT host Jerry Springer will also be on hand as the show’s emcee.
Following in the footsteps of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance seems like a smart move for the show, which has consistently brought in huge ratings for NBC this summer (not that there’s been much competition). After a long road to the finals, it’s also fair to say that these 10 acts — which include tween ballroom dancers and a daring stunt cyclist — are actually talented. But will you pay money to go and see them, rather than casually watch their weekly performances from the comfort of your couch? (Or the convenience of your DVR?). Will it feel different without Sharon’s encouraging praise and Howie’s awkward comments? What about Nick Cannon’s “knack” for creating suspense? Forget Vegas, can these acts headline the likes of Saint Rose, Mo.? And all you Prince Poppycock fans out there: Are you excited at the chance at seeing him do his thing in the flesh?
What do you think PopWatchers? Would you pay money to see these America’s Got Talent contestants? Are you pleased to find some of your favorites who didn’t make the cut will be taking the stage come fall? Or will this end up being a disaster, like the most recent Idol tour?

Geez, they aren’t even coming to Jackie Evancho’s hometown of Pittsburgh. Missed opportunity, especially since they could have been one of the first few acts in a brand new arena.
I really enjoyed the show this season. So much talent! I would see Fighting Gravity and Prince Poppycock in Vegas in a heartbeat! Fantastic acts. Should be done in a Vegas type setting. Although I think Jackie is so talented and such a cutie, she doesn’t belong in Vegas. It’s an adult town and not for children. Remember its city of sin reputation. Me personally would not pay to see her because I don’t care for that type of music. Heard she got a contract with Carnigie Hall. Better place for her to be than Vegas. I’m rooting for the the other 3 acts because like I said more appropriate for Vegas and I would definately pay to see those acts. They would even be more spectacular in Vegas!! Thank you!
Iwould like to purchase tickets for the tour @ Ceasors Palace
I ALREADY GOT MY TICKETS TO SEE THE PRINCE IN THE FLESH! LUV U!
Hiss boo they aren’t coming to a city near me…
I’m very excited about the tour and I’ve already purchased the most expensive ticket for the NYC show. It is definitely worth the $ and I think those guys are really talented. I love the top 4 specially Michael Grimm.
The only person I would pay to see is Prince Poppycock.
I think the tour is a good idea but i wouldn’t purchase a ticket. Too much other good entertainment available locally if one wishes to spend money on a live show.
I would absolutely pay to see the PRince many times over!!!!
What a talent!
watch out Vegas, The Prince is about to invade!!

Hey There. I discovered your weblog using msn. This is a very neatly written article. I will make sure to bookmark it and come back to learn extra of your useful information. Thank you for the post. I will certainly return.
You really make it appear so easy together with your presentation however I to find this matter to be really one thing which I believe I’d by no means understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m taking a look ahead in your subsequent publish, I will try to get the grasp of it!
keep your span the hell out of here!
