What TV show apparel do you actually wear in public?

After receiving a press release telling me to “Get Sookie’s Style!” at the HBO Shop, I realized two things: 1) the Merlotte’s T-shirt/apron set would make […] Read the full post.

I have a Tim Riggins jersey, a Panthers t-shirt, a Fangabnger t-shirt, Merlotee’s t-shirt, Gleek t-shirt, Entourage t-shirt, and my favorite a Veronica Mars “I Wanna be an 09ner” tank top. And I wear them all the time. Come Christmas my family always adds to my collection….

A Panther Football t-shirt that most people think is real (as if I actually watch football, pff), a quote from The Prisoner, and various other things that have been gifts or free (the treasured one is a one-of-a-kind Doctor Who themed shirt made by a friend). Wow, I am the biggest nerd ever. Ever.

I have a Lost Dharma shirt and the numbers shirt.

I plan on purchasing the Bon Temps t-shirt

I have an Office shirt, it’s the I Heart Jim one. I have worn it in public before but I usually just stick to wearing it around the house or my campus residence.

I also saw Glee on their live tour this past May, so I have one of the tour t-shirts. I honestly haven’t worn it much, mainly because I’m clumsy and don’t want to spill anything on it, haha.

I’ve got a Sheinhardt Wig T shirt from 30 Rock. One person said something.

Does it say “Not poisoning rivers since (insert year)” on the back? Lurve that shirt.

    • Karate Pants

      I NEED that shirt!

I wear my Sunnydale High and Sunnydale University Tee Shirts around and weirdly either get high 5’s or people saying that they went their too. Besides that it never hurts to rock a CHUCK shirt. The show needs the love.

I have been dying for Fangtasia and Merlotte’s shirts. Anything without a character’s face on it is ool with me. I also proudly wear my Muggle shirt! And a World of Warcraft tee with my character on it. (yup, I’m a loser! lol)

I want the Buffy Sunnydale High PE shirt.

I have a Mighty Boosh t-shirt. It’s not exactly subtle, but I am still waiting for a fellow fan to approach me!

I agree with being subtle. But I do have a Supernatural Zip-up Hoodie. Unless you take a good look you can’t tell what it is. I also have a Supernatural t-shirt I do wear sometimes. On the front it says “Winchester Demon Tour” on the back it lists all the 1st season episodes like a concert tour. It rocks! I wish they’d made them for every season.

I recently bought a “What I learned from the Winchesters” shirt

Years ago, I bought a white t-shirt in NY at a store on 7th Ave near 14th. It had “Mary Tyler Moore” written in the distinctive MTM font nine times in primary colors, echoing the image from the opening credits. Every time I wear it, people 1) ask where I got it (sorry, the store is gone), 2) ask if they can have it (No!), and/or 3) fondly recall favorite moments form the series. That shirt has started a lot of great conversations and wonderful friendships over the years.

I’ve got a Driveshaft T-shirt – I’m of the type to only wear the “inside joke” kind of TV merchandise, I guess.

  • Tracy

Subtle is best – I wear my Dharma baseball hat all the time :)

  • Katie

I have an “Unorthodox Urban Honey Pioneers” shirt that unless you are a pushing daisies fan, makes no sense. I get asked about it every time I wear it.

  • Heather

I wear my Lost shirts with no shame at all and if I see any other people wearing Lost gear I always make it a point to comment on how much I love their shirt. I also have a Pushing Daisies shirt from the Pie Hole that I enjoy wearing. I have a few tv shirts that I only whip out at home, but I do tend to prefer the subtle shirts so you can find the true fans in public
