Cancer-telethonImage Credit: Chris Hatcher/PR Photos; David Gabber/PRMark your calendars: On Sept. 10 at 8 p.m. ET, the four major TV networks will all air a star-packed Stand Up to Cancer telethon, featuring appearances by Reese Witherspoon, Stevie Wonder, and Queen Latifah alongside cancer survivors like Lance Armstrong and Christina Applegate. Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, and Brian Williams will serve as joint hosts of the event. The last Stand Up to Cancer benefit in 2008 raised over $100 million for research.

So plan a viewing party — and in the meantime, check out this clever PSA starring Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, and Dakota Fanning, among others.

If the networks and the “stars” just donated the money they would make from one night, they would not need this hsow. The Networks should just give up the Ad revenue from a regular night of TV, they would make more money.

That’s you, drops of water. And you’re on top of the mountain of success. But one day you start sliding down the mountain and you think wait a minute, “I’m a mountain top water drop, I don’t belong in this valley, this river, this little dark ocean with all these drops of water.” Then one day it gets hot, and you slowly evaporate into air, way up higher than any mountain top. All the way to the heavens. Then you understand that it was at your lowest that you were closest to God. Life’s a journey that goes round and round and the end is closest to the beginning. So if it’s change you need, relish the journey.

Never understood making fun of how people look. Is the person doing that the most beautiful person in the world? Who think they have a right?
You can see people you don’t particular think are attractive but to make a big deal out of it..why.
Reese can do whatever she wants, but Jake is the person who has worn the Livestrong bracelet and t-shirt for a number of years and has also helped out with Armstrong bike-runs and various other things to do with raising money for Cancer research.
