ITS BECAUSE THEY CASTED POORLY!!! THEY NEED HENRY CAVILL TO PLAY BOND!! Stupidest decision they EVER made was to cast Craig instead of HENRY CAVILL.
james bond will be back to kick ass. even if they brought back a bald headed sean connery it would still be fantastic.
The other day my teen nephews told me that Indianan Jones wasn’t cool, so I guess anything can lose it’s appeal to a new generation of viewers.
Did they only watch the last one? If so I can see why they don’t like him.
Daniel Craig rocks the part of James Bond.
Absolutely love Daniel Craig, but always felt he was wrong for Bond. Maybe that’s part of the problem.
Since Craig, Bond’s no fun, just violence. I saw Dr.No when it came out, and enjoyed every Bond film since, but I won’t watch Craig’s thug-version.

MGM has money problem: why not sell this franchise to another studio who knows hoe to manage and make money?
for me DC was NEVER James Bond! to each their own!
“Jamal Bond”? If that’s intended as a joke, it’s abhorrent. If it’s not…wow. You think 007 is “dead” now, just wait… On the topic of “Best Bond”, my vote has to go w/Pierce Brosnan. The perfect mixture of suave, magnetic and violent. Daniel Craig? “bondnotblond.com” I think was the website, which says it all.
Maybe add some young, hot vampires to the next Bond film. Pure magic.
The part that sucks for me is that Quantum and Casino Royale are the first two parts of a trilogy about the “secret” world order.
Goldeneye was the last good Bond.
Amen. And THE BEST BOND GIRL of all time was Xenia Onnatop. That was a Kick A@@ chick!!
what else is new? another 20th century institution down the toilet. Let’s see what else we’ve lost since the dawn of the dark new 21st century:

-newspapers
-video rental stores
-the space shuttle
-music albums
-phonebooths
-handwritten letters
-the postal service
-Larry King Live
…and now James Bond films.What’s next, reality as we know it? And while it is a shame to see Bond go, it absolutely should not be sold to a foreign arab company. Bond is pure western capitalism, not eastern arab oil. Don’t sell out just to sell again. Just as Bond would say, I’d rather have the film series dead than in the hands of the enemy.
Stop being so old.
QOS def wasn’t the worst bond film, it’s a transitional bond film. Yes it lacked in many areas but thank god it wasn’t Moonraker that sucked! or Die Another Day I can do without Bond stealth surfing in Korea. I hope Craig stays, but I feel its the early 90′s all over again…we shall see.

Why is everyone at EW so quick to jump on the Timothy Dalton hate wagon? I loved The Living Daylights and thought he was great in the role.
Anyway, I believe the francise will return eventually, but I’m sorry that it might take so long and might not involve Daniel Craig. I was looking forward to seeing him as Bond for a while.
