'Inception': What was the best scene in the weekend's No. 1 movie?

Filed under: Movies and tagged: ,

You’ve seen Inception, right? Because if you haven’t, I’m going to have to ask you to close your browser and back away from your computer: This blog item is not for you. If, however, you caught Christopher Nolan’s mind-bending delight — which opened to a hefty $60.4 million weekend at the box office — then I’ve got a question for you: My colleague Grady Smith posted an item earlier today dishing his three favorite Inception scenes, and you guys kicked up an interesting discussion in the comments section; that got me thinking it might be time to put this debate in poll form. In fact, without further ado, let’s get our vote on! Go!

hallway zero gravity fight. Multiple orgasms.

So when does “Inception” come out on Blu-Ray?

  • Jennifer

I really loved some of the “minor” scenes. When Ariadne goes to the “basement” and encounters Mal – so tense and eerie!

Where is the button for ALL?

I voted for the closing shot in the movie because I was so nervous that the final world would be a dream too. If had been, the whole movie would have been ruined.

      Ha ha, smart ass. :-)

I agree that it would have made me very disappointed for a movie that I loved, after first seeing it, I was disappointed the Nolan left us on such a cliffhanger, but looking back, I’m really glad. I firmly believe that it would fall.

I know it was in the previews but the best scene was the train crashing down the middle of the road and the excellent score and sound effects jolting me too attention. Hot!!!

      Train. Definitely.

My favorite part was when Timmy said to Lassie ‘Lassie….where are you?’. That was the best part of Inception.

  • Ally

I truly believe Joseph Gordon-Levitt stole the show.

    • Jessica

Ditto! I’d really like to see him start making more movies…

Q: Why did you vote for the fight in zero gravity scene?
A: Because of JGL kicking ass in an exquisite ensemble which included lovely tight pants.

  • Bob Jones

Joeseph Gordon Levitt was amazing in this movie, but I honestly believe that the show was stolen by Tom Hardy. When he tells JGL’s character that he musn’t be afraid to dream a little bigger darling and proceeds to blow the substation on the roof away, along with the villianous projection awesome. Great scene. Of the ones on your list though definitely the zero gravity fight scene.

  • LOL

JGL stealing a kiss from Juno was cool, too. That dirty dog!

    • L

Hah I liked that too. JGL just stole the entire movie. And him in suits with slicked back hair: yum.

Inception was an ok movie. But you know, after i came out of the cinema, i was ok with not having to see it again. It was interesting seeing it the first time. I don’t think it’ll be as fun if i see it again, because unlike say “The Matrix” that delved into a new world, it was missing that breathless excitement of an unassuming hero fighting against the odds. Good movie not great. Should gross under 200m

    • JR

Wow u were way off man. It grossed over 800m and is one of the top grossing movies of all time! It was an amazing movie.

  • Eskimo

    JGL was amazing!

  • D

The scenes with JGL, of course.
I love him, but it really does creep me out how much he looks like Heath.

  • Mike

My favorite scene was when they were going back up the elevator from the hotel room scene and his wife screamed up at them. I dunno why
