Image Credit: EPA/Tanner Maury/Landov; Jeff Kravitz/FilmMagicAs one of the three people who watched Shaq Vs. last summer, I’m pleased to report that the show will be back and more nonsensical than ever. According to the Associated Press, Shaquille O’Neal is no longer satisfied only losing to fellow athletes. In the new season debuting Aug. 3, he’ll try (and almost certainly fail) to out-cook Rachael Ray, out-magic Penn and Teller, and out-eat a competitive eater. Best of all, Shaq will be facing down his oldest enemy…on the dance floor. No, not Kobe Bryant. And not that evil mummy from Shaq Fu. I’m talking Justin D. Bieber, the impish little Twitter demon your niece can’t stop talking about.
The Biebs, of course, is an incredibly talented young dancer. It’ll be interesting to see how he matches up against O’Neal, who at last measurement weighed approximately twelve cubic Biebers. I admire Shaq for expanding his horizons beyond the realm of sports, and can actually envision him making a second career out of challenging incredible talented people from all walks of life. Who should Shaq take on next? Take a PopWatch poll after the jump…

I think it’s a great idea for Shaq to expand the concept of the show to the non-sports arena. I actually watched a bit of this show last year, and he’s got the personality to make it work.
…and given the shape he was in this past season, I think he’s got a real shot at winning the competitive eating challenge.
Boom. Roasted.
Mmmm…roasted.
(Seriously though, those rapid fire “roasts” from Michael Scott were outstanding!)
And with the size he is, he could probaly eat the competitive eater (who are almost always bafflingly small) in one gulp.
I’m pretty sure “twelve cubic Biebers” is my new favorite phrase.
mine too. i think i am going to start measuring all sorts of things in “cubic biebers”.
Shaq vs. Mel Gibson.
Justin Bieber, a talented young dancer? I guess… But there are other artists that are way better. Pretty much they are just putting him on for ratings.
This will be the greatest night of my 5-year old niece’s life. I can’t wait to tell her about it. She got to be a Shaq fan this last year when he played for the Cavs.
Anyone else think of that Aaron Carter song, “That’s How I Beat Shaq”?
Phew. I thought I was the only one.
My sister suggested Aaron be his dance coach!
AWESOME!
This most makes me think that there should be a Kazaam 2 and it should star the Biebs with Shaq
can you still my brother
and you still me……..
can you love me…….
i love you justin bieber….
i love justin bieber ………………..
LoVvVeEe U @justinbieber! With all my <333! (:
Justin will win, hands down. He is an amazing dancer and singer. Shaq is too big to have ANY rythem. Go JB!
