It seems like just yesterday that news broke about Gossip Girl heading to Paris to shoot the first scenes of season four. But now, just two months later, we’ve seen the snaps from the trés glam shoot. All I can say is, more please!
Exhibit A: The gold sequin jacket and electric blue pants belonging to Serena (Blake Lively). Sure, the sharp shoulder craze may be over, but hot damn, I want it — shoulders jutting out and all!
Exhibit B: Serena and Blair (Leighton Meester) frolicking through the Parisian rue, the latter wearing a girly, print-happy Moschino dress, and the former donning a tomboy-cool Georges Chakra dress with a boyfriend blazer. Note to self: Find Serena’s hat and some macaroons.
Exhibit C: Lively beats the heat in pink wide leg pants and chunky jewelry. I don’t love the idea of bras being the new tank top, but those pants are incredible, so I’ll let it slide.
I think anything would’ve been a step up from the first glimpses we got last season, but GG, you’ve given a girl who fell off the boat with your show — thanks to last season’s over-the-top storylines — a reason to get (really) excited again. And it doesn’t hurt that Chuck (Ed Westwick) is also in Paris with new co-star Clémence Poésy of Harry Potter. The plot thickens!

I hate the CW for spending must of their money on a only one show. ughhh Other shows like Supernatural, Vampire Diaries and smallville can use the money to add more stuff to theor shows.
I’m also a bigger fan of TVD, SPN & SV (well, actually it’s about tied with GG – I watch GG for Blair & Chuck & clothes & I watch SV for the man candy) – but to be fair they spend there budget’s on FX. Most of the wardrobe – if not made but actually labelled on GG is loaned to them because of the exposure.
The CW doesn’t spend money on the clothes. The clothes is borrowed or sometimes its just given to them.
When I swore I was done after raging at my TV because of all that Jenny crap in the finale – I knew in my heart that as soon as I started seeing the pretty clothes I’d eat my words. I was right. Damn you GG stylists!
SAME. I want to give up on the show so badly (Dan and Serena AGAIN? The show has made me forget that I ever loved them together) but the clothes are too pretty.
Relax! The Jenny crap was necessary to get rid of her. We have an entire jenny-free fall ahead of us! Now if we could just get rid of Dan & Vanessa…

they looks gorgeous as usual. leighton especially looks beautifullll. but i hope even more that gossip girl returns to the greatness that it was in the first two seasons, especially the first. all the prettiest clothes in the world are useless if the people wearing them are doing stupid things. i hope it follows the O.C.’s pattern: awesome first season, good but not-as-perfect second season, the third season being the weakest, big comeback fourth season. no jenny+no vanessa+paris+harry potter alum+kate cassidy=signs of hope. for now, i’m excited and these girls look good.

NOTHING will ever make me watch this fail show again. Chuck cashing J’s V-card was way over the line. But Stephanie Savage LYING about it after the story leaked was the last straw. Such disrespect–doesn’t deserve me as a viewer. I said I was done and I meant it. RIP GG

I was studying abroad in Paris and walked out of my building to find the camera crews and stars filming scenes for GG. Needless to say, I was forced to sign a contract that I would not disclose the time and location of the filming.
It was SO worth it, though!
