'Gossip Girl' finale recap: Big developments (and letdowns)

All I have to say is Chuck Bass better live or the show will be boring!!!!

okay, firstly, geeesh! some of you guys, really.. just calm down! quit with the ‘garbage’ talk! i mean, it’s just a tv show.. no need to try and stage a revolt or whatever. so you didn’t like the finale, or even the series, big deal! some of us still want to enjoy it..

having said that, i am still in the grieving process after our beloved mr bass (no, not bart! although for a fifty-or-something-year-old, well..) was cruelly.. uh, taken. it nearly brought tears to my eyes; i mean, i personally loved the fact that he was trying to save the ring. so romantic! and yet tragic. HE CAN’T BE DEAD. HE’S CHUCK BASS! blair and chuck are MEANT TO BE TOGETHER. no matter what.

ugghhh, which brings me to ‘it’. yes, i mean jenny. or as i like to refer to her now, ‘slutty’. it’s all her fault. what happened to sweet little j from series one who spent most of her time sitting at home, knitting and singing hymns (sort of)? i mean, from drug-dealing to dressing like a prostitute to cutting off the bride of frankensteins hair with a saw and sticking it in matted tufts around her head? she really has hit rock bottom. i completely agree, she needs to stay away.

same with vanessa, who’s hair is becoming eerily similar. and really, who’s in charge of her wardrobe nowadays? a hippy?

someone needs to teach serena how to dress herself, too. she seems to have a problem with covering more than a sixteenth of her body at a time (‘oh man, what’s that that just hit me in the face? oh, nvm, just SERENA’S BOOB.’). other than wanting to cut her head off everytime she speaks, i don’t really mind her too much.

poor old dan is reacting like any other guy would if serena waved her ‘charms’ right under their nose. derena will never work again though. it’s practically incest.

nate.. well, bless him. let’s be honest. he has NO CLUE what’s going on. at least he’s pretty.

georgina makes me lol. daddy dan will be the icing on the top of a pretty hilarious yet fat-armed cake.. although i have an inkling that she’s lying.

blair.. well, i love her. with or without chuck. i do just want her to be happy.

and, finally, lilly and rufus? right. GO. AWAY.

..oops! and eric! (i toootally didn’t forget him. much.) well, i can’t decided whether i want to sucker-punch him in the face or simply pat him patronisingly and pityingly on the shoulder; he does have to put up with a lot of frickin’ annoying people. i’d have tried to kill myself too if i had big s for a sister. and lil j- ugh, i can’t even think about that without gagging a little.

i guess i’ll go now. i think i’ve got scheduled in some more weeping time. oh, chuuck..
