While recent reports have stated that these new faces won’t be seen until season 3, EW has learned that these casting additions will actually be made in the second half of season 2, which premieres July 29. Once the original cast finishes filming the Miami stint at the end of May, production will take a break and then move back in July to finish filming the rest of the season. It’s unknown at this point how many new people will be added, or whether or not original cast members will be replaced. Please don’t take away my Snooki!MTV’s Jersey Shore is currently filming its second season in Miami, but the network and producers have big changes in store for when the series returns to Seaside Heights, N.J. in July to finish filming — namely, we’ll see some brand new faces.
What do you think about potentially seeing some new Jersey Shore cast members, PopWatchers? Who from the original cast would you like to see go?
