Hands down, my favorite interview of the season so far. I’m glad he left the competition, I think he should have been out sooner, but that doesn’t change that I respect him as a person. I actually wouldn’t have minded the interview going longer. Good job, Slezak!
I really like Tim. His rendition of Under My Thumb was fabulous. I always like the Stones’ song but Tim did a fantastic twist on the song.
I thought Hallelujah was one of the best performances of the season. I also loved Tim during Beatles week and I thought his version of Under My Thumb was better than the original! He is a good singer with an awesome personality. I can’t wait to see him again!
Anxiously awaited the Tim interview, and “had fun” watching it! Could tell that Tim charmed you too ’cause you could not bring yourself to correct his “I’d sang” grammar even once. I saw Anita Baker last weekend at jazz fest- tell Tim not to beat himself up- NO ONE can do what she does!
I am so happy for Tim. He seems like such a great person! I love this interview and after watching his clips, I really love his voice. I hope he makes an album AND stars on Glee.
That is the best interview. Tim is great at interviews. So comfortable! Great job Michael and Tim! I see Tim going places just on his attitude alone. I definitely gained more respect for him.

I was always a fan of Tim…he can sing people, but better yet he is a smart guy, comes across very personable, charming and witty. There should be more candid interviews of the top 10 in American idol so we really get to know them. It is not all about what the judges say on one night. Tim I hope we do not lose site of you, it was great to see you on Idol.

I hope that Tim Urban does a concert in Dallas after the American Idol tour which is promoted by radio station KLTY. He is a guy with class that did not deserve to be treated so poorly on American Idol by the judges.
He’s actually quite a likable guy. He knew when his performances were bad and he didn’t try to defend himself in an obnoxious way like Andrew Garcia did. He acknowledged that Apologize was a disaster. And I have to say, his positive energy is a little infectious. I actually smiled a few times watching the interview.
