'Smallville' creators developing new TV projects

Smallville creators Al Gough and Miles Millar, who departed the CW show in 2008, have signed a two-year deal with Sony Pictures TV to develop projects for network and cable, says the Hollywood Reporter. No details were given on the sorts of projects they’d be shepherding, but, let’s see: aside from the young Superman saga, their joint credits include Spider-Man 2 and the upcoming adaptation of the alien-takes-refuge-as-a-human-high schooler novel I Am Number Four (for Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg). Also, Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Nights. Do you want to see them keep exploring the angst of supernatural teens — my vote, I can’t get enough — or return to lighthearted, action-packed adult fare (just not Shanghai Dawn)?

They should have stopped Smallville after 4 seasons. Its rare for shows to go beyond 4-5 seasons and have them all be quality seasons. Thats why LEGEND OF THE SEEKER should go on for 2 more and call it quits and Big Bang Theory should go for one more and call it quits

2008′s about the time I departed the show, too. Really after Kristin Kruek left the first Smallville was over. It’s a new show now. Glad people are enjoying it.

But what will they use instead of Kryptonite to make their “villain of the week”? Outside of Lex each episode of Smallville enters a rapid decline about 30 seconds after you first hear.. “somebody saaavvvveee meeeeeeeeeee”.

the only project i have heard of them doing since departing “smallville” was the movie “mummy 3″ which was not mentioned in the article
