Well, following popular interest in the moment, The Golden Raspberry Award Foundation is apparently looking into broadcasting its award ceremony on television as early as next year.
“Despite their being known and enjoyed by a worldwide audience in the billions, the Razzie ceremony and variety show has never been broadcast,” the foundation writes on their website. “With awareness of (and interest in) the Razzies at an all-time high, the next logical step in their growth process is an airing of the awards show spoof that has changed the way the world views Hollywood’s biggest bombs.”
Well, I don’t know about you, PopWatchers, but this news makes me want to send a whole fruit basket to the Razzie Foundation. The Razzies ceremony has to be at as fun than the three-hour-plus Oscar ceremony. Montages would be an absolute riot, and lifetime achievement awards would be given out to the likes of Steven Seagal, Dane Cook (at such a ripe young age!), and Tommy Wiseau. Plus, with this year’s Valentine’s Day sure to be a contender, think of how many A-listers might grace the red carpet! But now the question is: Who should be the host of such a ceremony? My pick is Brian Dunkleman. Who’s yours?

Sorry, Growing Pains Fan, but Evangeline Lilly is a great actress. But maybe Kirk Cameron is willing.
@Dave – Oh believe me I will be the first to tell you no one on Growing Pains will win any acting awards, but it is still a fun show. I love LOST, but cannot stand Kate, but you could be right, maybe it is just a poorly written character.

I would have to say that my big picks to host would be either Joel McHale or Daniel Tosh. McHale would be perfect, but could you also imagine how much Tosh would rip into these films? It would be amazing!
