Totally-Lost-SawyerImage Credit: Mario Perez/ABCGuess who’s back/back again/Sawyer’s back/tell a friend…. Last week’s installment of Lost, titled “Recon,” featured the return of James Ford, who showed us that he wasn’t afraid to play poker with Smokey and Widmore on the island—or play naughty with Charlotte in the sideways world. The episode, which laid the groundwork for a showdown between Smokey and Widmore, raised a few questions that just happen to be explored in this week’s installment of Totally Lost. Doc J and I ask ourselves: Who/what lurks behind that locked door on the sub? Who is the crazy lady that Smokey calls Mommy? Why didn’t we invite the lovely Rebecca Mader over sooner? And for those who enjoy reading cryptic sentences on the bottom of the screen, we have included several teasers for tonight’s adventure, “Ab Aeterno.” Watch the video after the jump and then enlighten us with your latest theories: What’s behind Sub Door No. 1? Where’s Desmond? Who is the Lockeness Mother? And do you think Sawyer will pull off this latest con? Also an UPDATE: Part 3 of the video has been fixed and no longer cuts off mid-sentence. Enjoy!

    Loved the beginning! :D
    Rebecca Mader rules!

    • laylagalise

Agreed! The beginning was pretty cute.

    • Peabs

Rebecca was awesome, but that triple-slap of Claire edit was epic.

      • Joel

Yeah, the beginning AND the triple slap were awesome. And Sawyer was stupid for kicking Charlotte out. I mean, have you SEEN Rebecca Mader? She’s hot!

    • Gator

Totoally Lost was great as usual, but the appearance of the beautiful Rebecca Mader hit it out of the park for me! She was funny, self-deprecating, and a good sport. Plus, I love her sexy accent. Sad that she was under-utilized in the show, but good to see her back last week.

    Can’t wait for tonight!

I’m pretty sure “Ab Aeterno” is Richard’s exercise plan for 6-pack abs. He’s been developing it for many, many years.

    • pop

      i need it.

  • Anne

OK, did that video end in midsentence for anyone else?

    • David

Yes. I am curious about that as well. Part 3 sounds like it was cut off.

    • laylagalise

This happened to me to. Maybe there’s a fourth part that hasn’t uploaded?

    • Chris

Yeah…seems to have been cut off, which sucks! Can we get the additional missing footage, please?

    • Ashley

Yep, stopped right in the middle.

    • Bflo

yeah. it cutoff for me as well. weird.

    • Josh

      Yup.

    • Mothra

Yeah, it totally did for me, too, Anne. Bummer.

    • Maserda

Same here, and I only saw 2 teasers for tonight!

      • Ceballos

Teaser #3: “Get ready for an unconventional baptism.” Hope that helps.

  • BA

It ends so abruptly!! Is there a part or a minute missing?

  • Helen

Great post- but was it supposed to just cut off at the end? I loved Rebecca Madar, I wish she’d be in a couple more episodes.

  • IAM4KATE

Since Smokey seems to be channeling Locke, perhaps the crazy mother is actually Locke’s real mother and Smokey is using Locke’s memories to tell all these LIES!

    • Laura

That theory makes a lot more sense than Doc’s theory that Smokey is Locke or Faraday. Smokey is OLD. He’s been around for 100s of years. He watched the Black Rock come to the Island. There are Egyptian Hieroglyphic paintings of him. He ain’t one of the Losties.

  • Brett

Whats up with the ending? It just cut off in mid-sentence for me:(

  • Branr

Wow, how could they not even mention the definition of “Ab Aeterno”(From the Beginning of Time)?

And yes, the third segment ended misentence for me too

    • mlb

actually, the literal translation is “from the everlasting”

  • Charlotte

Looks like it cut off too soon. So Richard and Locke’s father share philosophies – could it be using your children to save yourself?

    • Johnny on the Spot(ish)

Cooper told Sawyer that the Island was hell. I’m thinking this is the philosophy in question.

  • rob

yeah, where’s the rest of the video?

  • Linda P

Listening to your comments and to Flocke’s dialogue, I’m beginning to think he was originally female.

  • Jason Averett

The third video has been fixed, and no longer cuts off at the end. Sorry about that!

  • Alicia

Part three ended abruptly… what’s up with that? I want to see the rest of the teasers!

  • TaRon

When I watched the video, it ended with more triple slap footage and another clip from Psycho.
