Let’s call this one THE DUMBEST DECISION YET. But before we get to Survivor… for all of those concerned, my cushions… are dry.  Hallelujah. Read the full post.

Colby is still my favorite player this season, but your rebuttal to his remarks was AWESOME. I’m guessing no more DVD commentaries for you two, now, eh?

As soon as the immunity challenge was revealed to be a puzzle, I knew the Heroes were doomed. And, to the surprise of no one, I was proved correct.

Oh, and the Heroes tribe is quickly becoming the most inept tribe in the history of the game. Seriously, I have never seen the wheels fall off this bad and this quickly for any tribe in any season. Any chance the Heroes had to win this season is now gone.

Hero’s are really horrible. Rupert should have been gone first out. He’s terrible at everything. Hate Russel. Unfortunately, with that blasted idol Boston Rob is probably toast and that will be a shame. I really really dislike ole Russ and Parvati and Sandra too for all that it matters. However, I really like your blog Jeff. Keep up the good work!

Thank goodness those cushions dried out!
Last week, I didn’t think Jeff was biased towards Colby at all. I thought he was addressing Rupert’s stupidity, which seems to be increasing exponentially.
Does JT really think he has any change of winning with all these dumb flip-flops? Colby read him correctly last night, and I’m not a Colby fan.
Was glad that the host made sure he let the players know he would proceed with the challenge when he was ready.
One thing I have to say is that I cannot stand Russell. And people stating spoilers on this board – where I’m not looking for a spoiler – make me angry.

Another great blog Jeff!! Thanks for doing these.

I wish the Heroes were doing better. I have admitted the reason I’ve watched is Colby and it’s still true. If he’s gone next week I may be too.

That said I have a hope for how the Villains could get rid of Russell and Pavarti. All they need to do is make Russell think they are voting her off so he plays the Idol and then they actually vote Russell off. Think about it it would be awesome to see Russell double crossed. I guess that means it will never happen but I do love the idea LOL

Not a Jerri fan, but when Rupert tossed her aside like a bag of flour. I yelled “OOHHH!!” The best part…Colby demanding Jeff to start the match. THEN..Jeff asks “who’s sitting out?” Colby…” I am !” What ?!? Did I miss something? Now with Russell telling Coach he has the idol. Smart!! Coach is ALL about loyalty. That’s all Russell had to do. I HATE i have to wait for next, next week (Damn Basketball) Until WEDNESDAY Night, take care my Survivor fans!! h.

P.S. Enough puzzles, get them out in the water standing on the post for 10 hrs. That”ll drain them!

Jeff – I know the season is over but I hope to GOD these things will happen: A mixing of the tribes so the “Heroes” will win a few challenges with the clearly winning “Villians” tribe. Also, I hope Russ can beat Boston Rob (in many ways than one…) definitely a show down we all want… and lastly, I hope Rupert goes pretty far. (I know wishful thinking) but hey, one can hope.

One last question I hope you answer in your next blog please… Are you going to be around for several more seasons? We love you and the show and would hate to see you & the show go. From what we (the fans) know, your contract is set to expire/renew at the end of this season. Please fill us in. :-)

Keep up the great work pretty boy :-)

Probst has signed on for 2 more seasons as of now I think. I think Survivor was renewed for 4 more seasons though so there will be some negotiations after next year’s 2 seasons. It would not be the same show without him.

  • Megan

Jeff, I just LOVE you this season! Not only are you pretty but you’re snarky as well! And now you add blindfolds to the mix….

  • JB

Keeping your current tribe strong is not such a big deal now, as long as your alliance is intact. Everyone has friends on both tribes and some may be looking to break up what they see as obvious post merge alliances. Vote out good stategizers. That to me is the best move!!

    • penalty box

Well, that was the one smart thing they did in voting out Siri.

  • orville

Wow. Just wow. The heroes have to be the stupidest group of Survivors ever. Sure, there have been very stupid tribes and very, very stupid moves before, but the difference with this group is that every single one of them has played the game before. Many of them multiple times. How they think they’re going to win challenges by getting rid of strong players and keeping weak and injured players is beyond me. Alliances are all well and good, but if they don’t get you to the merge with good numbers (even if you have another secret alliance on the other side)…you’re going home. Can’t wait for the reunion show dissembling for this season. Go get ‘em Probst!

Thanks for doing these blogs, Jeff. I love hearing your perspective on the episodes. I hated to see Tom go, especially in such a inexplicably moronic decision. Unlike some of the other formerly likable heroes who’ve become turds this season (James, Rupert), Tom never embarrassed himself and left with his dignity intact.

    • penalty box

Ruppert has always been a turd who is far too impressed with himself. But I like the concept for a new survivor Turds vs. Dignity. Many of the heroes are total turds. Coach and Russell are two of the biggest turds playing the game. There really isn’t much of a difference between Tom and Rob. They are pretty much the same player on different tribes.

  • KFC

Rupert is NOT “America’s Favorite Survivor” – please STOP REFERRING to him as such!! I couldn’t stand him in his first appearance and my dislike for him is increasing with every episode. He is a smug man who feels that he is ENTITLED to win this season. Once again, Rupert is NOT “America’s Favorite Survivor: – STOP lumping-in everyone in America with the idiots who have labeled him as such!!

    • DML

      Thank you.

  • paul

This season is turning into a bust. Instead of an epic battle between “good vs evil” the Heroes have done an epic fail. The producers are now going to have to turn it into “The Russell Show”. The promos keep announcing Russell as the biggest Survivor villain ever so you know he will go deep in the game. Jeff states it’s not Survivor if Russell isn’t looking finding and playing an Idol.

    • Shopgirl

I really wonder if Russell goes so deep into the game. Only because on the episodes we are seeing now, he is pretty trim – even close to developing a “six-pack.” On the live finale for Samoa, I thought he looked pretty round again, so my first thought was that he got voted out and started eating again for a few weeks before that finale.

All the heroes in Greek mythology had a tragic flaw – and these heroes are definitely tragic!

      • lara

the only six pack Russhole could ever have is Budweiser. He is a rotund, little troll with a smile that isn’t all there. Snaggletooth!

  • BO

Very stupid move by JT by getting rid of Tom. I can see the thought of waiting for the merge, but at this rate there will not be anyone left on the Heroes tribe when they merge. Not sure if I like the pre-game alliances. Maybe next All Star season they get one player from each season to help prevent it..

  • Desmo

The final nail in the coffin that is the Heroes tribe. Boston Rob FTW!
