Been watching Buffy for over 10 years–its still the best show ever made. The plots, the dialogue, the characters…they are timeless. I have the entire collection but catch it on reruns whenever… it will never be outdone.
A friend gave me the entire series (which I had never seen)last year. He handed me the brown paper bag of DVDs and said, so serious, this will change your life. He was so right! Once I started watching I couldn’t stop. As soon as Buffy was over I bought the entire series of Angel and enjoyed it almost as much as Buffy. I have passed on that bag of Buffys (I bought my own collection) to several friends and now we are all addicted. Thank you Joss!!!
Best show ever – watching reruns daily on Canada’s much music. Big Buffy/Riley fan.
I was ten and outside playing with my twelve year old cousin. He said he had to go inside because this show “Buffy” was about to come on. I went inside, watched it, and didn’t stop until the end of the series. I’ve also re-watched the entire series twice on DVD. Buffy brought on so many discussions and new friends.
I was a dumb 7-year old…now I’m a dumb 17 year old but I was wise to watch Buffy and eff team edward and jacob…TEAM SPIKE!! all the way
I was in high school when Buffy started…right in the target audience…no excuse except that I had seen the movie (not THAT bad, but still). I remember a substitute teacher talking about it and thinking “you want to be cool and connect with the kids and you pick some show that no one I know watches?”. Finally wised up in college. I heard about “Surprise/Innocence” and thought it sounded intriguing. I watched and was instantly hooked for life. I have other shows I like a lot, but I don’t think anything will ever match BTVS for me.
I was not even 1 when the show started. How i got started is a long story but pretty much i had a hard time falling asleep like a year or two ago and would pull all nighters a few times a week. So i would always turn on my tv and just sit and channel surf until everyone eles woke up. one day i turned to tnt and this show called Angel was on. I got hooked right away! I watched that whole series starting at the first season. But the whole time they would mention “Buffy” and i didn’t know what they were talking about until i looked it up. At the time none of the stations in my area were playing Buffy. When we finally got nexflix i started watching it right away and i love it. I finished it and now my younger sister is watching them too.
