ABC announced on today’s Good Morning America that model/actress Brooke Burke will co-host season 10 of Dancing with the Stars (premieres Monday, March 22). You remember Brooke, right? Host of Rock Star? Winner of season 7? “Mommy Correspondent” on The Doctors? At one point had trouble standing up? No? Well, she is the co-host!
Happy about it, DANCMSTRs? Or would you rather have seen scary-spicy samba dancer Mel B. or Melissa Rycroft as the “liv” to Tom’s “liiiiiiiiive”?

I never liked deep throat (aka theoriginal co-host) but I would have preferred Melissa Rycroft to Brooke. Brooke doesn’t have that warm fuzzy personality.
Samantha wasn’t the original co-host. Lisa Canning had the job in season one.
I think she’ll do well…
I hated that show Rock Star, but my mom really liked it. I saw Brooke Burke on there, and on E!, and she’ll do fine. I still refuse to watch the show, though, because it’s complete crap and the production value makes me laugh.

I, too, would’ve preferred Melissa Rycroft, but Ms. Burke will be an ENORMOUS improvement over the ever-tongue-tied and clueless Skeletor wannabe SaMANtha Harris. However, my love of reality t.v. may be waning what with the crop of crap over on American Idol and no one of real interest to me on DWTS. Wow, I might actually read a book now! One without pictures, too!
or simply wait for SYTYCD???…sorry, I agree with you,…never was a big fan of reality TV, but this year may official be the year I refuse to watch anything unless it has an actual plot…(and don’t get me started on the “news”
I would rather it have been Drew Lachey. He had a good rapport with Tom and they were hilarious when he was the cohost. But then, it can’t get much worse than Samantha Harris.
I agree. Drew did a great job when he subbed. But anyone is better than Samantha!
I would have preferred Melissa or Mel B, but I like that they chose someone who knows what they are going through. I am VERY glad it was not Lisa Renna….her lips scare me

Out of all of the DWTS co-host finalists, I’m glad Brooke was picked. I seem to be in the minority when I say I can’t stand Melissa.

Are you kidding? “Wild On” was a cult classic. Brooke is charming as hell, in a slightly confused kind of way. Samantha Harris was just dumb.
