Slate has created this video imagining famous directors’ versions of the Super Bowl. Fans of Quentin Tarantino, David Lynch, Wes Anderson, Jean-Luc Godard, and Werner Herzog will get a kick out of this.
And another treat for Wes Anderson fans after the jump.
That guy looks nothing like Owen Wilson, but otherwise he’s dead on, right?

Nice!
OMG, the Wes Anderson parody was total GENIUS!
I accually thought it was owen wilson at first!
The voice sounds like Owen Wilson himself. I have never heard an impersonation sound exactly like Owen before. It’s amazing!
Haha, that’s fantastic
The Slate video is pretty weak (don’t do parodies of director’s styles if you have seemingly little to no understanding of them), but the Spidey vid’s much better.
*directors’ styles*, sorry.
The David Lynch and Tarantno versions were weak; otherwise these were pretty cool; I’d like to see more… maybe a Kurosawa, Kubric, or Stone version; maybe throw in a comedy director like Segal in there.
Well that was very disappointing, the Tarantino one especially. Only people who are semi-familiar with these filmmakers would think this was spot on. It really isn’t.
Eyeshield 21 in the Tarantino clip made me laugh…though he’s only used anime in one of his movies. That’s not really a “thing” of his to parody.
The Spiderman clip was hilarious, though.
Got to love the “Amazing Spider Man”
