Regardless of whether you relate to Taylor Swift’s lyrics about boys, best friends, and bleachers, you have to give the singer credit for writing her own material. And now Swift is taking those scribe skills to the greeting card aisle with her very own line for American Greetings. The line will launch in spring 2010 and also includes, gift wrap, stationery, and online greetings.
More details about the line are expected in 2010, her rep told EW, but it got me thinking about which occasions Swift would be writing about. Sure, I can see her putting her stamp on anniversaries, graduations, and of course, thinking-of-you moments, but what about new jobs, new homes and Bat Mitzvahs? Would a card about the Jewish celebration sound, perhaps, something like this?:
I wish you the best on this day, your Bat Mitzvah
Now you’re a woman, certainly no shiksa
So I wish you l’chaim
To the soon-to-come good times!
OK, I’m thinking her lyrics would be a tad better than mine.
What occasion would you want Swift to commemorate?

How about Taylor Swift cards for waking up next to someone you went home drunk with, or a card for getting dumped for either a younger or wealthier person, or maybe a card to celebrate an unplanned pregnancy. Yeah, they all could be inspired by “country music themes.”
TAYLOR YOU JUST LOOK LIKE nichole
A Bat Mitzvah card would be nice… and yes, the lyrics could be better
