Sarah Palin continued her book promo tour this morning with a stop at Good Morning America where she and two of her daughters got to enjoy the gentle breeze from the softballs Barbara Walters lobbed at them. Mmmm, breeze. (This is on the heel’s of yesterday’s Oprah interview, which covered much of the same ground.) For someone who claims to dislike “the media,” Palin is doing an awful lot of interviews — but since her debut on the national level, she’s hardly been a shrinking violet. Between her RNC speech, the iconic Katie Couric interview, and the equally iconic Tina Fey impression, there’s no way around it: Love her or loathe her, there’s no denying Sarah Palin’s a media star. When did you know she was here to stay, PopWatchers?
Read Tina Jordan’s review of Going Rogue.

I thought she was done. I still think she’s done, politically. And I voted McCain. She’s not doing the GOP any favors and she needs to go.
That was the only moment I had hope for her. It was all downhill from there.
She’s “here to stay”?!?! ::::cringe:::: I get the same feeling from Speidi.
She took the full brunt of the narrow minded, liberal, in the bag for the Dems media and she’s still standing. I say “you go, Girl!” Both sides of the political isle are run by those who do not represent us (have you noticed all of the upper class millionaires?). It’s nice to see a fresh face for once. She won’t be the next president, but she sure could help point the direction towards who it will be.
As a conservative Republican, the very thought of Sarah Palin being the party’s “compass”…pointing us in ANY direction?!…scares the holy he#! outta me!
Your “conservative” views are different than hers?
I thought her moment was at the end of each month. [Ooooh... too Family Guy?]
Family Guy’s jokes makes sense. I think I know what you think your joke means, but you’re wrong.
Well, at leaste she is finally on the right stage-Entertainment
Palin is good ratings for the sensationalism obsessed media. Even some of the people who can’t stand her want to see the next delusional thing that she says. After dropping her governorship of Alaska in her 1st term to make money as an entertainer, she can’t be considered much of a serious leader by rational thinking people.
Very convenient and narrow minded of you criticize. Imagine being in her situation. After making an attempt to do what you think is the right thing to help America, you return to your home and see that your mere presence is making everyting a shell of what it used to be. Her once quiet, slow paced state was now out of control, crawling with sleezey reporters and self serving “media” types, causing all kinds of chaos. By removing herself she made the situation better. Seems like a selfless act to me….
nope, she is a quitter who just wanted money. That is why she is no longer gov.
By the way, love the once quiet slow paced state ref….that is hilarious! Like it is 1950′s America, the one the conservatives all want to bring back.
yeah, because nobody has ever written books and done speaking engagement while still in office! That never happens….
Oh, and you are right about my Alaska reference. Never been there myself so i’m just guessin…
“By removing herself she made the situation better. Seems like a selfless act to me.”
Except for the whole media tour to profit from the whole mess. Clearly she isn’t making these decisions from some “selfless” desire to make the world a better place, but instead to milk everything she can out of it while people are still interested in rubbernecking over her failed political life.
