Rupert’s already been in four films outside of the HP franchise-Thunderpants, Driving Lessons, Cherrybomb, and Wild Target. So, I think the question shouldn’t be, is he ready to headline a film, but is the script and how the content of the film right for Rupert?
Being a huge Rupert fan myself, I trust his judgement. And if it’s a good script, he’ll do it.
I didn’t know much about Eddie up until a couple of days ago, but he seems like a passionate, sweet man that really went after his dream. Regardless of what everyone else was saying. That says a lot for his character as a human being, and if the script is written with sensitivity to this, Rupert will pick up on it and be more than happy to portray “The Eagle”.
