It was an odd hour of TV, to say the least. Kim wore a prototype of of her wig line. Sheree wore Dolce & Gabbana and claimed not to have fake boobs. (Good bra, my foot.) Lisa imagined there was public interest in a sex tape starring her and Ed. NeNe continued to express shock over having found herself in a roomful of Asians—and not even the American kind. Andy asked Kim to just take her damn wig off once and for all, but I fear Kim is at this very moment trying to orchestrate a big reveal in Life & Style magazine. Big Poppa apparently showed up during a commercial break, which suggests that Kim will not in fact be shoveling s— any time soon.
Kim looked peeved throughout the hour, annoyed that Betty in East Hampton dared to wonder how many glasses of wine she drank a day, annoyed that Sheree defined the word mistress, annoyed that Andy brought up her non-cancer scare. When Andy tried to suss out how in fact Kim and NeNe made up, she insisted that he “keep it movin’, keep movin’.” Kim blamed their problems on “miscommunication” and “Housewives from other counties.” (“What’s the other one?” she asked, twirling a crazy finger around her head. “Ramona!”). Andy didn’t believe these two, who were literally at each other’s throats this season, were now suddenly bosom buddies again. The other Housewives looked like they didn’t care one way or the other.
The most amusing segment of the show, and one of the moments where Andy really shined, was when our amiable host (“Hey…boo!”) grilled Kim about Big Poppa. “Does he still support you?” asked Andy. “Mmmn, not really, I mean, not really,” said Kim. Okay, so yes, Big Poppa is still 100% supporting her. But Kim went on to insist that that blasted song was paying the bills, and that she’d invested wisely after her working days as a home healthcare aide and a cocktail waitress. She is an independent woman doing it for herself and if that meant she had to shovel s— at Target or McDonalds then she would do just that. “No, I know,but you’re not shoveling s—,” Andy pointed out. That line alone might be enough to finally convince me to watch an episode of his late night show.
There were two completely candid moments during the hour. The first was during a clearly still stunned Kandi’s description of the night A.J. died. The tears had started rolling, Kim had enveloped her like an old baloney sandwich. Kandi, raw and exposed, asked for some tissues. I don’t know what it was about her unpolished request that touched me so — maybe it’s that she is just starting to walk up to her stages of grief and yet somehow was stuck sitting on a velour sofa in a one-shouldered dress next to a woman who was talking about her Bahama Breeze-funded IRA. The other honest moment occurred during the tail-end of a discussion about NeNe’s search for her real father. Andy wondered why she just didn’t go on ahead and reach out to the man who raised her, and who has since dropped contact with her. NeNe worked her lower jaw, biting at the inside of her mouth, trying not to cry. This is a show dedicated to melodrama and overreaction. To watch someone try to resist their emotions and maintain their composure was the evening’s ultimate twist.
In Part 2 of the Reunion special, Kim dons gloves and wobbles from side to side junior high-style during a performance of “Tardy for the Party.”
What did you all think? Which of the ladies gave the best ‘bitch, please’ look? I vote for Sheree’s toxic eye roll when Lisa said she was wearing Closet Freak. Did Andy do a good job grilling the ladies?

I thought the reunion was pretty boring…
very boring! no wonder Bravo didn’t heavily advertise it. those ladies better step it up if they want to stay on tv!
I think the ladies were on thier best behavior due to the passing of AJ and also Kandi at the last minute deciding to do the reunion show, yes it was a little boring, but atleast the ladies acted like they had some sort of class. After this crazy wig pulling, hands around the neck season, being laid back for the reunion was very necessary.
I was suprised that Kandi would film this 10 days after AJs death.

Kim is the biggest w h o r e of them all. She came off less trustworthy than Jon OR Kate! Where were the fireworks? What the show needed was an audience.
This reminded me of the boring Housewives of New Jersey reunion (the one that could have been 20 minutes). I really wanted to know more about each of these women, but NeNe and Kim had some kind of agreement to act civil towards each other…don’t tease us like this…i wonder if Bravo’s syndication deal that doesn’t pay the girls a dime had anything to do with them not delivering the drama last night.
So what did you all think of the new quiet me? ooh chile it was killing me to be so low key but yall been killing me in the press since you seen my true colors so oh well! I hope you all and Bravo are happy!

If this is really NeNe I still think you are stupid and ignorant. Have you ever heard of thinking before you speak? That is my advice to you. The comments you made about Lisa’s family was rude and disrespectful and is not something even a casual friend would do. Take some of the money you are making and educate yourself. It will only benefit you, your family and your career.

NeNe I think you did really godd on the reunion forget which the press and other have to say about you . I think you are real and I like real people, people want you to be phony and that ain’t you keep being who you are and I hope the best for you and your family. I love the show I hope it will return for another season. Stay as you are A Beautiful Black Woman the is real.

Are you serious? The show was taped just days after his death, therefore I’m sure the hurt is till weighing heavy on her heart and mind. She also had custody of two of his children. Have some compassion you never know when you will need some as well.
Why is everyone always dogging Kim? She is not the first and surely will not be the last woman to romance a married man! At least she keeps it real which a lot of people wouldn’t esp on tv with the cameras rolling.
I know that Lisa said that she was not pregnant (that she knew of), but she did appear to have that “pregnancy glow” IMO. IDK, maybe it was the hair. Her face did look a little plumper than usual…
Kim did seem a little irritable last night; maybe she wasn’t in the best of moods…

it wasn’t just her face, her breasts were huge, she definitely had that ‘glow’ and it actually looked like she had a bump! i assumed she was trying to hide it and therefore she sat in the one place covered by text for the whole show.
I noted the glow also. She also seemed plump. All of the returning Housewives had implants this year.
Are you sure it is not fat? She has a tendency to look plump at times, and I think her being boring is due to personal issues having to do about not getting money out of her unemployed husband. I think she thought she would be living the good life. Maybe she should learn more about the game and skill level of her next player. If it starts that fast it could end just as quickly. Better luck in the future
Kim’s former publicist claims the ladies purposely refrained from “drama” or making good TV during the reunion taping. The reasoning is that they are supposedly ticked at Bravo for syndicating the series, but not cutting them in on the profits.

No they actually decided to to “refrain from the drama” because of Kandi’s ex-fiance passing, they did it out of respect for her.

Lisa is scared to death of NeNe. It pained me to hear NeNe go on and on about the shock of seeing Lisa’a Asian side of the family. Lisa was clearly not happy with NeNe’s comments thats why she kept laughing and trying to clean up the things NeNe was saying. The other girls sat there looking disgusted.
NeNe could have simply said it was a pleasure meeting them and kept it moving.
Yes I love how Kim kept trying to change the subject or get annoyed when talking about her stuff. Um, isn’t that why you are on the show? She’s so strange in every way.
NeNe and Kim’s refusal to discuss the fight kind of solidified my feeling that the whole thing never happened. I feel like they made it up to get more air time and don’t want to discuss it to avoid getting caught in a lie. It just seems too far fetched that, during filming, two rival castmates would go to an event and the cameras wouldn’t be there. These are the same cameramen that followed Lisa and Ed to their bathroom and filmed them in a tub together.
And IMO NeNe gave the best ‘bitch please’ face when Kim was describing how she wasn’t a mistress… she even had to hold back a laugh.
I think Andy did a good job of calling BS on a lot of their claims, but the show was still boring. And don’t waste your time on his live shows; I caught a little of it for the first time last night and he spent 15 mins tweeting b/c he needed a viewer to confirm if he was actually live or not. Worst part was that he interrupted Kandi to read the holy tweet that proved it by describing his shirt. Tacky – even for Bravo.
People kill me with there “immature” comments. Kandi just lost a good friend of hers just a few days before they taped the show of course she is going to show emotion and go on about what happen. I want you to put yourself in her shoe and think about how you would feel and how you could take that happening to you, maybe she did go on about it for 10 minutes so what. I gonna need you too get a life and just read what you just wrote and how you would take that comment I think you could of and should of kept that moment to yourself. Do you have a heart please let me know?
